Nikon Anti Reflective Device

This killflash doesn’t fit the thread to my 3-9x40 by being ever so slightly small, but it doesn’t have slack when i put it on. I’m not sure to put lesser stars on my scope or this killflash… so yeah🤣 if you’re like me who’s fine with just taping it or applying a low strength glue. Then by all means go for it.

Its a good product especially for the price. I unfortunately goofed on the size. turns out my scope with a 40mm object takes a step up after the lens from 40mm to 44mm. I will be keeping this tho for my box of mis parts in the hopes of being able to use in the future

Fits on the objective lens side of (case) of Ziess terra ed 42 binoculars, not recessed, but the threads fit snugly/wellin the case channel, main portion of the ARD extends outside by about 15/16th inch. not threaded there but snugly presses in. Also fits inside my Allen chest rig neoprene protective case. I will use minimal "Elmers" white glue for semi permanent attachment, to preclude bump and loss. Of course the lens caps will not fit, but with the ARD in the way; no fingers will ever touch a lens. This will definitely work to hide lens reflection when looking at game/targets/or others, and halt sun glare unless looking nearly directly at the sun. I Rated thickness low as to show It would be better if the outer ring would need to be 2mm smaller to fit inside the lens tube, maybe a 40 mm unit would fit inside? Pleasing good luck though.

First of all, people that are complaining about this being plastic, it's not. It's made of a composite material that will outlast most scopes it goes on. Second, I was able to thread this on to my Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-12. Very nice piece and 1/10 the price of a Tenebraex kill flash.

This item is all plastic but it is sturdy for what it is. I don't expect it to survive long but for the price I paid don't care. I'll just buy a couple more as this falls under the cheap, disposable & works while it last category.

I have a Nikon P223 and a Nikon 308 scope, both in 40mm. This screws on these scopes with ease. As it should, being it's Nikon on Nikon. No gaps, cross threads, etc. Some reviewers are complaining that it does not fit their scope of a different brand, they assume 40mm is 40mm. Not so.If you have a Nikon scope, order with confidence, it WILL fit. Another brand ? Not necessarily so.
