good quality hinges and a near silent mechanism
I have been looking for a decent watch winder for some time and decided on the one topia unit. The unit arrived quickly and was well packaged. Opening it I noticed that the key was missing for the lock on the front. Emailed the seller and got an immediate response. They apologised and immediately sent a new key out. As the key came directly from China I thought I'd be waiting weeks but within less than a week it had arrived via courier! The unit itself is very well made, good quality hinges and a near silent mechanism. If I'm really picky there is a faint click noise but it's so quiet you really have to listen hard. With the four different rotation options it's easy to boost charge your watch (choosing the short idle period) or maintain the watch constantly with the 9hr idle period. I have two different automatic watches and both wind perfectly in this unit. I especially like the fact that it rotates in both clockwise and anti clockwise directions to keep an even wear on the watch. Definitely recommend!

Excellent for the price and very quiet
Very solid built quality with superb finish and quality hinges. It is also extremely quiet. My wrists are 20cm and my watches fit snugly on the holders. For smaller wrists you can remove some padding if required. Much larger and the watches may rattle around a bit. There is enough clearance for the biggest watch without interfering with the winder case.Be aware this is not a small unit though. The dimensions are not included in the description so it is 190mm wide x 256mm deep x 225mm high.EDIT - Whatever the setting it will be active 6 hours a day. With 1 turn every 6 seconds that's 3600 turns per day. This is way more than needed (My Rolex needs 600 TPD to keep fully wound) and can cause unnecessary wear over time. I've put it on a timer to limit the time it's active. Other than that it's great but I've taken a star off for that reason.

Fab Case
Fab looking case and works a treat. Very stylish. As for noise wise as I’m sure people would want to know, there is a very very slight noise but nothing obvious. Great purchase.
