It’s a bath seat not a lot you can say , it’s sturdy worth the money.

This is okay but my husband is unable to use it as he cannot lift himself off it.

I was a little worried about this seat taking my weight, but it’s been perfect. It enables me to bathe without assistance

Unfortunately this item is listed as a bath aide which is to be fair more of a shower aide. I bought to help me with bathing and it falls short. It should not reach the bath water. This item would be of no use for helping in a bath capacity. Such a shame. I was so hopeful that it would be of help to me getting in and out of the bath, and may well have done if it was a little lower. Looking at the photo in the ad, it looks lower in the bath than it actually it. My husband got a whirlpool bath installed to help with our arthritis but the seat did not even reach the level of the jets. Sorely disappointed. I was also a bit sceptical about it's sturdiness.

It works for standard UK size baths. Extremely light weight, and value for money.My bath is the modern plastic type and don't have any problems so far. Over long term use (years) it may scratch the bath side where it sits, but any item would. So if you are concerned but pop a towel over or add some foam type tape to avoid any possible damage to Bath.

As the strength increased in my legs following back surgery I found this simple seat helpful in lowering myself in and out of the bath. It replaced the slide bench which projected outside the bath. I also utilized a side grip that fits firmly on the side of the tub as well as wall bars to help me stand. By placing the seat as far back in the tub as possible I found it to have a better grip, and also be sure to add a non-slip plastic mat to the bottom of the tub.
