Very impressed with the overall quality-to-price ratio.
I was going to get a Polaroid version but the price for postage was almost as much as the filter. So happy I stumbled upon this one! It's worth mentioning that this filter is perfect for a wide-angle lens (It works great with my Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm F2.8), since the outer diameter is much larger than the inner diameter (on the 58mm filter I bought anyway) and that minimises vignetting. I can't get the exact outer measurement but it's somewhere in the 65mm range and I wouldn't recommend stacking an extra filter on the end of this anyway. If you need even more ND reduction, put a filter before it instead. The Color cast is minimal, and can easily be tuned on post if you shoot in RAW, or even calibrated with the camera's "white balance" before shooting. Even though I can see *very slight* ripples in the glass when light reflects off it, I see zero distortion on the captured image. Build quality is great, feels sturdy and is well machined.

Mediocre
Thought I'd give this ND a try to compliment my Tiffen ND. But there's no comparison. This Ritz Gear is mediocre at best. It produces quite a soft image and is no better than the other cheap variable NDs I've used like the Fotga and K&F Concept products costing around half as much. In fact the K&F Concept might be slightly better. This Ritz Gear ND makes fancy claims about "Schott Glass". I think that's all they are really, fancy claims. This thing is ok if you're not bothered about sharpness or resolution and just want to cut out some light on the cheap. But if you want clarity too forget it and save your pennies to get a Tiffen or something in that league. You'll thank yourself in the end.

Great travel option
Adjustable ND filters are always a compromise, but this one is an example of really good one. Never as good as individual NDs, but a tremendous travel option.

ND filter
A well made product with what appears to be quality glass, making it unnecessary to purchase a number of different filters
