ORACAL631 Adhesive Vinyl, 12" x 6', Metallic Gold

The vinyl cuts really well, doesn't have a strong vinyl smell, sticks well, but can still be easily removed. Works well for stickers you'll want to remove someday, car decals, and stencils. The seller does send it without a roll meaning it'll be crushed in shipping causing stripped air bubbles and you'll really only get some 12x4 inch strips and not a full usable roll. Due to how the bubbles are created you can reduce them with a squeegee but they will still leave some wrinkles behind.

1. When you unroll it the material is full of air bubbles that wont go away regardless of how much you try to work them out. 2. The paper backing tears and sticks on my standard hold mat. 3. The paper backing doesnt cleanly come off of the vinyl which is a real pain to try and clean off without ruining the adhesivness. I will add that it took quite a long time to get to me as well but thats not a product issue.I wont buy this product again and will tell my cricut using friends to steer clear of it as well. Lesson Learned...

I needed 12 inch stripes and unfortunately everyone else charges a lot of money for the amount I needed. This worked out so perfectly. I couldn't be happier.. makes me want to stripe everything:)

I wanted to turn my kitchen into Moe's Tavern from The Simpsons, so I purchased the orange vinyl to adhere to my cabinets. It was incredibly easy to apply, and for each square I applied incorrectly, it was easy to remove and re-adhere. This vinyl was super easy to cut, too! I used a Circuit machine, and each square came out perfect. I like that the orange is matte, and my only regret is using a shiny green made by another company. All around a great, purchase!

Bought this vinyl based on the price for the amount you get and it’s true when they say “you get what you pay for” this vinyl really doesn’t stick well to the backing it’s on, so when your machine is cutting, pieces of it lift and when you go to weed your design, the whole thing pretty much ends up coming off the backing with the pieces you’re weeding away. If you’re doing small design, it’s not a big deal to cut more and try again but I wouldn’t buy this vinyl if you’re using on a large design because if it gets messed up your going to waste your vinyl having to keep re-cutting it. Im putting this on cardstock under a piece of glass but I wouldn’t even try to use this on a cup or laptop as a decal.

How did I miss that this was sold by this company! As usual, I lost the majority of the roll bc they cannot seem to understand that the sticker, tape, and ridiculous rolling destroys the vinyl. As soon as I saw how tightly this was rolled I knew I had screwed up and purchased from Vvivid Vinyl again. See pics ... huge creases through the entire middle bc they refuse to put the vinyl on a core... refuse to use a low tack tape to hold it.. and refused to put it even in a plastic wrap so the FBA required sticker doesn’t destroy the vinyl. Luckily I can work on either side of the center crease and do not need to cut using the middle. I have screwed up 2x in the past year by buying from this company bc of how easy it is to lose the name of the actual seller in the name of the amazon listing. I will tear every listing apart from now on to make sure I never buy from this seller again ... and will never recommend if asked.

Garbage vinyl. Came rolled so tight that when I unrolled it, it was creased so badly, I had to throw over 2 feet out. It is also not 12 inches wide, so my first design was ruined. It won't even cut on the lightest setting, the letters are lifting from the backing. Save yourself the money and time, this was useless.

This vinyl was rolled very tightly. When this is done to the vinyl, there is slip between the vinyl and the backing. When flattened out for cutting, the displacement of the backing and the vinyl causes wrinkles. This roll had many many wrinkles when I laid it out flat on my cutting mat. It took a good amount of time to get them out...too much time, actually a waste of my time. On some occasions while I was smoothing out wrinkles, I accidentally stretched the vinyl which caused a permanent wrinkle. I am going to hang the balance of this roll to too see if I can get some of the wrinkles out. It just ugly.I understand the need to ship in a small package, but this thing showed up in a relatively huge box...it would have been totally possible to roll it into a larger diameter and thus prevent so many problems.
