Just what i wanted
The main oven on / off / temperature switch stopped working, that is you could turn the switch but nothing happened... this little piece of plastic creates a bridge between the switch and the operating mechanism. Easy to replace and oven sorted.

Worked on a different model
I was expecting just the plastic coupler shaft, but the item came with the shaft fitted into a coupling frame which is supposed to screw into the controller and then click into the knob holder. This was not shown in the photo.I had not checked that this item was not meant to fit my mother's Bosch HBN13N550B, so the coupling frame is different from those on her oven.But I found that it is very similar, apart from some bits of plastic on the back plate which screws to the controller. So I trimmed these off, and it fits perfectly. All sorted!
