Giant Bamboo Seeds 60 pcs/Moso Bamboo/UK Hardy/Grows up to 8-10 metres in Record Speed

They took a while to grow put them in cup water for day then in pots and maybe 2 months started growing obviously not all seeds have grown but happy to grow them from seeds

I like how it was packed but that's it, I tried 6 different ways to get them to germinate but I suspect all of the seeds were dead on arrival. Obviously this is very disappointing, no one wants to receive dead seeds that won't grow. I was surprised the seed packet didn't have any kind of use by date, this is obviously how it happened, the seller needs to be more careful with their stock rotation. But for me personally, I don't recommend this seller or product.

soaked seeds in water at 35 degrees in a flask for 24 hours then planted about half seed in 4 inch pots of moist compost covered with a thin layer of sand .then placed pots in some small plastic bags and sealed the them then placed bags in my greenhouse now 15 days later two have germinated so far hope more will appear in coming days

The seeds are germinating well after 2 months.I put the seeds in the fridge for 2 weeks then put them in water in the airing cupboard for 2 weeks then poured them onto potting compost .Up they sprouted pricked them out last week . Looking good so far.

My Partner purchased these Giant Bamboo seeds and I was delighted with the results I now have 16 outdoor potted plants in early stages of growth. I found if you follow there instructions carefully you get results and I'm no expert. I have now purchased the Windmill Palm and Japanese Red Mapel seeds hopefully with similar results. Delivery was on time and well packed.

Not germinated 0/72 Waste of money. Or only my bag has an issue... 20 day humidity and temperature controlled tray 72 seed and "0" plant. after 14 days 50% mouldy germ

These seeds will germinate with or without heat. I’ve found that germination is better with seeds on the surface on their sides under a layer of grit or vermiculite. You don’t really need to put them upright as many ppl suggest. I found slower and less successful germination this way.

I would have preferred to know that this bamboo is the running kind, and not the clumping kind. The running kind sends out runners below ground to spread, while the clumping kind does not. More info on growing the seedlings and preparing the seeds in the first place would have been useful.

He esperado más de 1 mes y ni 1 sola unidad a germinado, tasa de germinación del 0% Quiero aclarar que me dedico a la botánica y en general al mundo rural desde hace 25 años. Después de leer las opiniones negativas pensé que dada mi experiencia y el acceso que tengo a incubadoras profesionales podría germinar algunas unidades pero ni siquiera con estos medios lo he conseguido.

Also, ich habe die Samen erhalten und direkt 24 Std. in lauwarmes wasser getan. Dann habe ich die in einen Topf getan welchen ich dann in einen Eimer legte. Das ganze bedekte ich mit Frischhaltefolie um eine Art Tropengewächshaus zu formen. !Wichtig! Das Zimmer ist immer warm gewesen und ein Dachschrägenfenster mit direkter Sonne war gegeben! Gut nass gemacht alles und eigentlich in Ruhe gelassen. Nach 6 Tagen wachsen schon 4 kleine Pflänzchen (3 auf dem Foto zuv ehen. Viele der Samen scheinen nicht anzugehen da diese Samenart auch nur recht kurz Keimfähig sind. Also schnell aussähen und mit ein paar Pflanzen rechnen. Ich bin aber sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Kann ja sein das noch mehr raus kommen sind ja erst 6 Tage vergangen.

A prima vista non sembravano molto recenti, poi dopo posso confermare che sono pessimi. Pazienza.
