AltraMen's Lone Peak 7 Trail Running Shoe

They are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of footwear I currently own, however this is my second pair after having to return the first due to them being way too big. I did buy the wide fitting version and typically wear a UK11 but I ordered these in a UK10 and they are literally perfect. I have walked over 20 miles in them since I got them on Friday and they are brilliant. Good quality, light, comfortable and they look decent too.

Fit, used for hiking and comfy.

I recently completed the Camino (800km) wearing a pair of Salomons and suffered terrible blistering. I met several people wearing Altras who sustained not a single one and so I was already sold on Altras and their "wider toe box" before making the purchase. When my Altras arrived it was a day before heading off on the Dales Way (80 miles across the Yorkshire Dales over four days) so they were put to the test immediately. Well, all I can say is that I love my new Altras. No blisters or discomfort at all so now this brand will be my go to for the rest of my life.

Ugly but comfy as hell!

I had LP6s but a size up (12). I found them uncomfortable when descending steep slopes.I'll report back once I've worn them for a while.

I love Altra, they offer great comfort and support for a zero drop shoe, but they aren't durable.After 300ish miles the sole starts to wear down, the mesh over the toe box doesn't last long before the big toe starts penetrating through the material.It's a shame because they are a great balance of trail and road running and ideal for ultra running, but they don't last long enough.

Very versatile trail shoe. They look good and the fit is true to size. I LOVE the wide toe bed that does not pinch and allows your foot/toes to conform naturally to changing terrain.It holds your foot and ankle securely for no blisters.They have good support and excellent traction.The shoe build is very high-quality.Excellent deal for top-of-the-line trail running shoes.

I wear nothing but Altra shoes. They have a nice wide toe bed so my toes don’t get squished and my bunion doesn’t rub. I love the colour of these ones the most of any I have previously purchased.

I bought my shoes last year for work in a hospital and it is very comfy on my feet. The only thing that I do not like is the cheap material. It started to tear after using only for less than 150 kilometers of walking indoors.

Lace loops seem flimsy, not sure they will hold up. These are a WIDE toe box, look at the web site and go through the shoefinder first.
