This toy had a huge success on my cat. She loved it from the first moment, and still plays with it a lot and even lays next to it sometimes. I think part of the success is because of the catnip bag inside but still, It is a really nice toy. It doesn’t jump but it does flap a lot, doesn’t make a lot a noise but needs to be charged quite often.

Blu was asleep, I opened the bird as I read lots of positive reviews. It started flapping and tweeting and didn’t take blu long to wake up and come and investigate. At first lots of curiosity and sniffing. Then he went in for a gentle lick or two. I think he was being gentle at first but not long before his in-stinks kicked it I actually felt sorry for the toy. Great fun very well made cute and lots of fun and excitement I’m looking for more like this very realistic bird downside the charge does last long and has to be charged once twice a day. All these negative reviews can be avoided by reading the description and cats have natural instinct if you buy it a bird to to initiate real life it will not be able to tell it’s a toy… common sense readers

My cat loves the flapping bird

Awesome cat toy! Genuinely….. we’ve bought so many toys for my half bengal and she just looks at them and walks off. She has not stopped playing with this bird since we gave it to her for Xmas!!! The bird sounds are fun, but she actually prefers it off too - she carries it all round the house and attacks it! Brilliant item. Would highly recommend, even if your cat is fussy!

Absolutely hilarious.. my two furry treasures are very difficult to entertain with toys of any kind .. they much prefer the 'real' kind , the ones that are grey , have a long tail and squeak or the feathered ones that fly .. basically pretty much anything alive they can get through the cat flap.. But this toy they really enjoy.. they really were most impressed and treat it like the real thing. I put it away after a while and bring it out a week later so as it's a new toy all over again. Most definitely worth the money and the quality is superb

The cat, and toddler, play with it often but I’m not sure it is good value for money. To start with the positives, I haven’t replaced the cat nip pouch and it’s obviously still working as the cat loves to rub his face on it. He also likes to give it a little lick if I press it on. It is well made and durable, the toddler has rough played with it many times! The negatives: the picture shows ‘three flapping modes’. This isn’t correct. It just flaps one way every single time, the noise is the same repetitive tweep, and there is no button to change modes. I’ve taken the mechanism apart to check I wasn’t missing a button and have confirmed it is just a simply motor with two plastic struts that move the wings up and down. I think it would be vastly improved with this as it would appear more bird like and may encourage some natural pouncing and hunting. The bird noise is lifelike but is grating after a while! Overall, it is a good present for the cat (and two year old!) but the description of what it does isn’t accurate and I wouldn’t buy it again.

Bought a this because I've always wanted to get my cats one after seeing it on Instagram/TikTok etc and I'm really surprised by how entertaining it to my cats. It arrived fully charged and with the cat nip pack already inside the toy, all three of my cats were instantly curious about it, one started playing with it, them started swatting the other cats to keep them away from it. A little on the small size, though great value for money!

For £18 I expected a lot more. The toy is not as described. It certainly does not fly around as shown. Very very disappointing. I will be requesting a refund. Total fraud.

This is one of the most engaging and entertaining toys we’ve found for my PETS ever! My cat took to it immediately with curiosity and fascination then vigorous hunting prowess. Fun for dogs: Once it entered the domain of our Australian Shepherd it was impossible to keep it from her. She constantly herds the cat with it then steals it away. Once in her possession she shakes and throws it to herself repeatedly. The charge time is nominal and not as frequent as I expected. It lasts days! They get so much use out of it. Size: And unlike so many other toys, it doesn’t end up under a stove or couch, lost to time or the next cleaning routine. Activity level: When it turns off, as it should, she sits and watches it for hours, waiting for any movement or action. If the breeze or gravity shifts it she will attack and it’s game on again. Occasionally, I will tap it so it will tweet again so she reengages, simply out of pity. I’ve had to buy a second one just for the cat in his space, it’s on him when he teases her with it in her space. But I have to return one or the other in there occasionally. It’s such a great toy. Chewability: This is a dog that believes toys are for killing and meant to be unstuffed. I’ve spent more money on stuffing and squeakers than snugglers. There is something about this toy that makes it special. You’ll notice the tail feathers are pretty much gone, as I expected, but other than that, she’s left the rest in tact. She can shake and attack, throw and play, but the mechanism, wings, and head all stay put. The only thing keeping the device in place is a sturdy Velcro strip. And it’s sturdy! But she’s never broke through. The head and wings aren’t her target. She’s in it for the chase and engagement. Even her tiny little nose is still in tact. Bounce: If you were expecting more hop for your money, as I was, don’t get excited. This doesn’t do flips or jump over the moon. This little fella doesn’t clear a couple of inches, at best. After the initial disappointment I realized my cat (and later my dog) didn’t see the video and wasn’t concerned in the least about the lack of acrobatics. They were pleased as punch with the noise and motion it was capable of. So, I let it go and maintain my five stars as is.
