Accessory Hose Compatible with FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer，Suitable for all sealing zipper bags, wine plugs, jar seals, vacuum sealing agents (accessory hose compatible with foodsaver)

I ordered this after being frustrated that the accessory attachment that came with my FoodSaver machine didn't work with my storage containers from other manufacturers, forcing me to use a variety of hand pumps. And the tubing was really short. This solved virtually all of my problems. The tubing is longer, which makes using it much easier. It works on all of my vacuum seal containers (and zipper bags and bottle stoppers). And it comes with two of everything. The one drawback is that there are no instructions of any sort with it. This is not much of an issue if you have previously used the accessory attachment port on your vacuum sealer, but it could require a bit of trial and error learning if you aren't already familiar with how to attach things to use the accessory port with your machine.

Nice length hoses. Once you figure out which tip goes where and which tips to use, works great. Still a very tight fit for Foodsaver FM2100 accessory port. Must push very hard so tip will insert deep enough to open the spring-loaded shutter that allows suction to come through hose. Then I have to use a flat-head screwdriver to wedge the tip back out to disconnect the hose. The hose left plugged in competes for suction power with the bag-sealing strip built into the machine. You can't allow suction to be drawn into 2 paths at the same time.

Pros: -It is hard to find a replacement accessory hose for this model of foodsaver. These work perfectly. -It's nice to have a pkg of 2, as by design (by foodsaver) they are pretty fragile and break long before the appliance itself wears out. -the extra accessory for bags, etc., is nice if you need that. Cons: -It comes in pieces. I find the hose continually separating from the solid green piece. Not a big deal to replace. Maybe I could even get it more firmly affixed if I were to soak it in hot water. For the moment it doesn't annoy me that much. I still gave it 5 stars, because it works!

Was kind of excited that someone was making the very pieces that failed pretty quickly of the original Food Saver accessory parts, but once we started using this product we found that the plastic broke even quicker than the OEM parts. The tip that is constantly inserted and removed from the acc port needs to be made of more sturdier material.

Purchased for VS0150 model Foodsaver. At first we could not get the accessory port connector to work because the VS0150 port did not allow it to fully plug in. After reading a comment on the foodsaver website about the VS0160, the user said the spring closing the accessory port may be sticky. It suggested using a small allen wrench to poke gently into the accessory port to loosen the spring closing the accessory port and we were able to get the accessory connector to click into the VS0150 accessory port. After that, we were able to test vacuum sealing a mason jar with no issues. To remove the accessory port connector, we used a flat head screwdriver to gently pop it out of the accessory port, do not twist or try to force connector out as you might break it.

So the device works well, if it fits your port. The nipple was not long enough to use on mine so I had to harvest one from my jar sealer and put it on the hose. Once that was done it worked really well. "universal" is not accurate. Avid armor unit.
