It yanks the hair out! Excellent value for the money and easy to use which is why I purchased it. I have had skin breakouts from hair remover creams so I wanted nothing to do with chemicals and had heard rumors about this product so after I got it, I sat down in front of the TV with a glass of wine and hoped for the best. I am so glad I had wine, it YANKS the hair out and the first time hurts, I mean it won't cause you to lose sleep or blow up your face with inflammation but until you get used to it, oh my! I did it by sections of my face the first time to minimize the initial pain but again it does work and it works very well. When hair does grow back it's fine and not the coarse chin hairs that I had (why God does this happen to use women, WHY?). Anyway, my mustache is gone, but I use this thing once a week so I don't have much hair growth now but to the newbies, you've got to get used to it first and wine does help. Recommended!

Never tried one of these before. Works great. I use it when I’m sitting around watching TV. It’s much more effective that electric epilators. It’s small, easy to keep clean and doesn’t irritate my face. Irritation was a limiting factor when using an electric epilator. I can use this until all the hair is gone. I prefer it to shaving which irritates my skin and leaves stubby hairs below the skin that surface in a day or two, requiring almost daily shaving. I can use this as little as one a week. I don’t usually bend it as the instructions direct, but rather pull the ends slightly, and it catches the thinnest and thickest facial hairs readily. My eyes aren’t as good as the once were, so tweezers are no longer very effective for me. This leaves my face comfortable and hairless for a very small cost and very little effort.

This works about as well as an eyelash curler. You can pull a few hairs but most effort is wasted. Who has all day? (Actually, I'm not sure if I had all day that I could accomplish my entire face and as a fair-haired blonde, I'm just not that hairy.) Mine arrive in a bubble package that had clearly been previously opened. No doubt, somebody else's returned product.

This is great for pulling fine facial hairs, but for the thicker facial hairs it is not very good at all. It will pull them out eventually but it takes several tries before it actually works...

It works! I wasn’t sure what I was getting or how to use it. I just needed something besides tweezers for those stray chin and mustache hairs that no female wants. Simple and easy it really works.

Seemed to hurt as tho it was working, but didn’t work well enough to keep using it. Worked a little.

Works great. Be patient and learn to twist it just right.

Hard to get it to grab the hair. Not impressed.
