Kelly Moore KMB-EST-CAR Esther Bag for DSLR Camera - Caramel

I love this bag! It's basically like if the purse gods got together and added every feature I could've wanted to hide my camera, 2 lenses, glasses, laptop, and a month's worth of feminine supplies (and we're talking like bus pads people - this bag is HUGE!). LOVE IT. 12/10 would buy again

Bought this bag in July of this year and saved it to use on a recent anniversary trip that I went on with my husband. I wanted something stylish to carry my camera in while on vaction. After carrying the bag as a purse (with one DSLR and small lens attached, one medium sized wallet, and a sunglasses case inside), I broke two of the zipper pulls. The bag was certainly not overfilled by any means. For the remainder of the trip I had to use my finger nails to pry open the zipper to the main compartment...which was not easy to do since the zipper was not smooth to begin with. Then, on top of that...at some point during the week, the side of my bag must have brushed up against something...because I looked down one day and there was a good size tear in the side of the material...about 3 inches long. I have no idea what caused it...but whatever sliced it open did so quite easily. So now, after 6 days of use...I have a bag with 2 busted zipper pulls and a gaping tear in the side. My other camera bag, a $25 Amazon brand backpack, has been toted around to daily photo sessions for 3 years and has never had injuries like these. Clearly this bag was not created to withstand a 6 day vacation...let alone daily use. I contacted the company and they responded quickly. They won't replace the bag...the tear in the side is not covered under their warranty because its not a manufacturing defect. I understand that...however I'm still frustrated that the material of my $200 bag could tear so easily.They offered to replace the zipper pulls...so I now have those being shipped to me. But I honestly feel that a bag sold at this price should not need hardware replaced in such a short amount of time. I had high hopes that the company would follow suit with a few other companies that I know...and just replace the bag all together ...since I have owned if for such a short period of time. No such luck.They offered to sell me ANOTHER bag for $80 that would be a factory defect with some sort of imperfection...to compensate me for my troubles. Why in the world would I give this company even more money to send me yet another defective bag? So save your money...don't waste it on this cheaply made bag that will only disappoint.

Just touch the product in the box and saw how hard the leather was and how heavy it would become with camera inside.

I have been driving my husband crazy for this bag. Finally got it for Mother's Day, and within minutes the zipper broke and zipper pull came off. I hadn't even taken the tags off. The bag itself is not a soft leather bag, so do not be deceived by the picture. On a positive note, I do have to say that I contacted Kelly Moore bags, and the responded quickly and professionally. I will be returning the bag back to Amazon tomorrow. So sad.....
