Bulbs do not generate enough heat!
The bulbs are lacking the necessary heat output to make the Lava Lamp behave as it did previously with the old bulbs. I verified that the bulb is the correct size for the lamp, but they only put out enough heat to form a bubble near the bottom. No bubbles have enough energy to reach the top of the light.I will NOT buy these again!

Not a true 40 watt!
These 40 watt bulbs did not get hot enough to melt the lava. Bought another brand , same 40 watt bulb and it works perfect.

Doesn't work!
I bought this for my lava lamp. I made sure it was the proper wattage for the size lamp I had and it still didn't heat the lava up. Useless and a waste of money.
