Handy tool for toolbox
This is a brilliant little tool for pushing hole into wood, leather or any other soft materials before drilling, sewing etc. It is also secure as the top separates to cover the pointed end for protection from injury.

Brilliant design
The fact that you can cover the metal point with the white bit is brilliant. Its easy to use too. The wide handle gives you a good grip.

A great tool to use
The design is nice and easy to use.The handle is actually in two separate parts, the white and the blue, the blue part being textured plastic that gives a nice grip, and the white part being rubbery and fits nicely in your hand. When you want to store the pointed end safely, all you need to do is take the white part out from the handle and place it on the opposite end, where it softly clicks into place. The tool itself does everything it's supposed to and sharp enough to poke through fibers easily. The metal part doesn't snag or get caught on anything. It's probably not the cheapest awl, though it's not exactly expensive, but the extra cost for comfort and quality is worth it.

Pokes holes in material, an presumably anything else you want to poke holes in
What can I say it pokes holes in material. Good quality the top of the awl (white bit) comes off and you can use it as a cover for the awl, fits nicely in the hand and is easy to use
