It gives you dry and small kernels but you can improve this considerably by adding a tbsp or so, depending on the amount of kernels, and a tbp of oil to the kernels in the tub. For the first line add a tbsp of water and a tbsp of oil and some seasoning salt and heat for 3 min and you get some tasty popcorn. If you just pop it dry you get small dry kernels not worth eating. I feed it to my crows. Consider the price difference from the air popper that died after a couple of months it's worth the effort.

This popper is now the only thing I use for popcorn. I love the fact that it is so easy to use...just add a small amount of popcorn and stick it in the microwave. Three minutes later pull it out with nearly all the kernels popped (very few un-popped and no partially popped). It is also very easy to clean afterward, with or without using the dishwasher. The popcorn tastes good with no unhealthy fats from oil from pan popped, or chemicals from micro-wave bag popcorn.

It does what it purports to do. I eat more than one bowlful so I do it twice.

I love it. Took a bit to figure out the correct amount of time to pop but think I got it now. I use it daily.

Finally got around to using this popper tonight. I had to quickly repeat my microwave's preset popper but the finished product was the best result I've ever had from microwaved popcorn. On the second preset round, I listened for the popping to slow to virtually nothing and shut it down before it completely finished. No sign of burning at all. The instructions suggested one should expect 10 to 15% unpopped kernels. I had probably 10 or 15 unpopped kernels period. I don't plan to put it in my dishwasher as the clean up was not difficult or time consuming at all. Although I suppose you could eat the corn straight from the popper, that does not strike me as a very good idea because it's so floppy and I didn't want to deal with cleaning oil and salt from the popper itself.
