Pocket Guide to Public Speaking 5e & LaunchPad (Six Month Access) Fifth Edition

If you have doubts about doing a successful speech or even for giving a presentation whether for class, work, or some event I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS. I have read this book in its entirety several times over and over, it is an absolutely FABULOUS little guide thats EXTREMELY HELPFUL. It contains chapters on building an outline for persuasive or even informational presentations, has hints on combating anxiety, and sample outlines to help you on your way. I used it for school having to conduct an informative speech on communication apprehension and then for my senior capstone presentation to an audience of professionals, in both instances I got an 'A'. I LOVE THIS BOOK, TRUST ME YOU WILL TO!

Took a speech class and this was the textbook. The teacher said she used this book becuase it was a great book and great for a reference down the road, plus it was cheap! I can respect an instructor like that. This book is great and I am keeping this one for reference down the road.

Seems to be great so far. Condition was decent. Not exactly as explained but whatever; Its a school book so ill probably never use it again after the semester is over. THX!

Unfortunately, I barely used this book (teacher's fault, not seller's) and when going to sell it back, you can only get about $2. But, on the plus side it came in good condition and it was what it said it was, as well as being fairly cheap for a text book.

I needed this for my speech class and the book looks like it’s brand new

i ordered this book because my dining table wobbled a lot and often ruined family dinners. one of the legs was far shorter than the others and caused drinks to spill, and gravy to slide off of my mashed potatoes and directly into my salad. This book was the perfect height and width to place under the leg and we have enjoyed our meals ever since! i now put extra gravy on my mashed potatoes knowing my salad is completely safe

To be honest, I was very intimidated with the size of the book. My impression of this book was "what can this book cover on public speaking?" But I was wrong.It is the first time for me to take up public speaking and having this book was a requirement. Upon reading it, it filled me with great knowledge on public speaking.Concise, brief, and an absolute fun to read! Sometimes, I forgot it's actually a textbook.

Just got my book at a great price. It arrived faster that I expected and in a great condition.Its highlighted and has normal ware and tare as you would expect from an already used book.Im very impress and happy with the buy.
