Don't Forget To Use With Foam Windscreen
A good buy. The fur is thick and full. I paired it with a CAF16 foam windscreen. I put the foam over the mic, stretched the elastic on the deceased cat, and worked it completely in. Should provide good protection from wind noise when using the low cut filter. Perfect fit for my Zoom M3 MicTrak. Haven't noticed any shedding yet.

Works well, costs little
This is a more than honest deadcat and the price is hard to beat.

Made for use in conjunction with a foam cover, not by itself
I am normally not one to write a review of a product but after reading the other reviews of this dead cat I feel like I need to correct some information that others have shared. This dead cat is designed to fit OVER the foam wind sock that comes with most shotgun microphones. I purchased 2 for my Sennheiser mkh-416 and my Sony ecm-670 and with the foam covers under the dead cat they fit perfect. The idea behind this is to give an extra layer of protection against the wind and without the foam inside it will not really help. One thing to note, this thing sheads just about as bad as my husky... Recommend a plastic bag to cover it when not in use. I purchased these for an outdoor recording session I am doing in 2 weeks and will update this review with how they preform in the wind at that time. For reference I went with these over a blimp I needed portability and I don't expect to fight that much in terms of wind. This will not replace a full blimp system in terms of the capability to reduce wind noise, but it will be miles better that nothing or even a foam cover by itself.

Poor results in wind
I used on my Rode video mic with poor results in 10 to 15 mph winds videoing a marching band at football stadium. I need something better.

Great value.
This a good value, used for my gopro cut it into pieces, instead of buying those expensive ones that people sell "specifically designed for gopro" do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on those.

Not compatible with NTG-2 as listed!
Ordered for Rode NTG-2, which was specifically listed in item title. Not only is it not snug, it’s more than twice the size it should be (see picture). It might work well with other mics, but absolutely useless for the NTG-2 despite what is advertised.

Definitely buying again
My fiancé loved it, he does youtube and he was trying to figure out how to minimize sound and wind in his videos, thanks to this product now he can.

Fits well over Røde Videomic
The original foam cover on the Røde Videomic isn't designed for outdoor/windy environments. This windscreen fits over the foam mic cover, allowing us to use the Røde Videomic for outdoor shoots.

This isn't the world's best wind suppressor. But it makes a huge difference on my rode video pro mic

Fits the mic over the foam windscreen, but stays completely loose on the back. Returning.

Dispite being advertised as "fitting for Rode Videomic" it's far too long. It doesn't fit. Unsuitable.
