These threaders are handy and easier to use than metal wire ones. I love them.
The first thing is you can use them for thread or knitting yarns. A hook at each end.IThere is a hole which i wish was in the centre. The first drawback is if the threader is flat of the table it is hard to pick up. I thread a piece of thin ribbon through the hole and treat the ends of the ribbon with fray-check or similar.Next drawback is I once dropped mine on the carpet and it somehow slid between the pile of the carpet so was then invisible and I stood on it so another reason for a marker ribbon.I keep about four in my work box and they are virtually impossible to lift out without the ribbon.Another drawback is they are metal and can cause burrs on the holes of your needles. This is ok for thread but for metalised embroidery thread it is fatal so I use the old fashioned wire threaders for lurex or similar embroidery stuff.Sounds as if they are awkward to use but once they have a fabric gripper attached you'll not want to be without one. You buy a packet of ten off Amazon. Remove 6 from the pack and store away.

These work.
I love that these work and make threading needles easier. I wish the hole was further away from the small hook as I like to thread through it some cotton so it doesn't easily get lost.

Not any good for tiny needle eyes but medium sized & knitting sew needles
They are a little to large for the small opening needles so a eye needs to be a little large but awesome otherwise & so easy to use.
