really happy with these, wore them last night for 3 hours :-)
I just used these properly last night at an outdoor party in Cannes, France. The atmosphere was great, but I found it way too loud. The EarDial iPhone app was super easy to use and suggested that I'd get 12 mins of safe sound exposure where I was standing (in the loudest part of the venue), or 2 hours with ear plugs in. So I popped in the earplugs, and also moved somewhere slightly quieter after 20 mins, so I could talk with my friends. After I left, there were no side-effects for me — no discomfort, and no ringing in the ears. The EarDials were comfortable to wear for 3 hours. Pretty much invisible to anyone else. I could still hear the music, and easily make out conversation. At the end of the night, it was also easy to get them out of my ears, and put them back in their case. I particularly like having the metal case on my keyring. It's small, and doesn't look too weird. And actually having an option of ear protection when I want it feels really good. Fit wise, my ear canals are probably slightly smaller than average, because I can use Apple AirPods, but they're a tight fit and slightly uncomfortable.

The best quality earplugs.
The best earplugs - so soft and gentle that you can't even feel them in your ear; they are even invisible. Great job, guys. The earloop things they are advertising are not worth it compared to your product. Your product is excellent.

Excellent product - saving my hearing!
These earplugs are excellent for use in nightclubs. Filtered the noise nicely so that I could still hear the music without having tinnitus when I left! The best (and unexpected) part was that I could hear what people were saying to me much more clearly. I don’t think the earplugs were particularly visible in the darkness (or maybe people were too polite to comment!) but the only drawback I found was that they did tend to pop out slightly so I had to keep pushing them back in on the dancefloor. However I don’t think other earplugs would be any different.

Comfortable, portable and effective.
I love my Eardial earplugs. This is the second set I have owned, having bought into the original kickstarter and only recently lost one. The best thing about these earplugs, is the I (very almost) always have them to hand. So when I go to a gig / show / festival / children's pantomime rehearsal (frequently at short notice) it's fantastic to have them on my keyring and to hand. Importantly they're effective too, at reducing post gig tinnitus. On the (rare) occasion when I don't have my, Eardial with me at a concert I've really noticed (and suffered the consequence). Moreover, they're great at cutting the level of background chatter. They're (relatively) comfortable although they can be a little fiddly to get right initially, they sit well in my ears for hours and the new, smaller storage cannister is a definite design improvement. The companion App, is perhaps a little superfluous and buggy. It alway crashes after a couple of uses. And while interesting It feels more like a gimmick than a necessity. Finally though Jesús Carrera (the EarDial Founder) offers an unparalleled level of support and customer service. Thank you for my splendid earplugs.

These work. Simples.
These are very good. They virtually eliminate wind noise, although some road noise gets through so you can still hear sirens etc. They fit in a way that is not obtrusive and don't get pulled out the moment you put your helmet on and your ear canals distort slightly as it goes over them. They don't itch like the foam ones and they don't make my ears bleed after prolongued use like the foam ones. This was a good investment and they checked up afterwards to make sure everything was OK. Everything has a minor niggle, so in the interests of fairness, I will stick them here. The case is a little fiddly to get them in, but at the same time it is tiny and discreet (and sits on your keyring, hooray!). The pull tab is only JUST long enough. A different set of filters and self changing ability would really add to these. If you drop one on the ground, they are translucent silicon, so it will be the devil to find it. Coloured filters would help. All in all, it's a yes from me. And I don't even have to remember which trousers, rainsuit, leather jacket, tankbag, rucksack or panniers I left them in.

Great noise reduction, comfortable to wear
Great product, does an excellent job of cutting down harsh, loud sounds. Super comfortable to wear, even for extended use. The discreet design is a nice bonus, too.

Comfortable and effective
These are good for reducing loud music but still allowing conversation with friends. Keyring container is nice and compact, just be careful ear plugs from it as it's fiddly and easy to drop. Comfortable to wear for long periods too. Happy with the purchase.

Best sounding and looking ear plugs I've used
Really good customer service, one of my ear plugs arrived with a hole in it and a brand new pair were sent no questions asked. The actual product is brilliant at what it does, probably the best ear plug I've used sound wise. Sometimes it feels like the ear plug isn't even in the sound is so clear. The main reason I bought these were for the look - I'm a singer in a band who needs ear protection but didn't want unsightly plugs sticking out of my ears at gigs. I also wanted a handy pair of plugs when I go to other gigs that are right there on my key chain as I have forgotten to take ear plugs a couple of times previously. The only mark down I have with this product is that when you take it out and put it back in (breaks from rehearsing for instance), they will slip out quite easily due to sweat etc. I'm sure if I took a towel with me to rehearsal and made sure my ear canal was completely dry when I put them in, this wouldn't happen, but I don't have to do that extra work with longer ear plugs as the weight distribution and size keeps them in place.

BACKGROUND: I'm a musician so my hearing is VERY important - and fortunately, I still have a superior sense of hearing despite my younger days when I'd go out clubbing and danced next to the speakers cuz that was apparently the cool thing to do. Oh how I wish these had been around back in the 90s!!! In the last few years I started going out dancing again and found that I was uncomfortable with some of the volumes that are now being pushed by the DJs at the midnight hour. So I experimented with traditional foam ear plugs, which I'm sure protected me but, I didn't feel like I was part of the action as much. I felt the music was too muffled and I couldnt get myself into it. EAR DIALS: I first saw these advertised on a deal site and what sold me was the Android app (who doesn't like to measure stuff and have the satisfaction of knowing they are protected) as well as the translucent appearance of these. A 3rd feature that I liked was the bullet-like carrying case, which is always attached to my keys and is very handy. It comes with a glow-in-the-dark sticker too if you like that. So after going out twice here's what I have to say: REVIEW -- The PROS: Audio level is definitely reduced but not muffled so I can confirm I am protected (also no ringing noise next day). The protection is immediate - in other words you don't have to wait for the foam to expand in your ear. The app is easy to install, use, and satisfying. The fit in the ears is snug and the little piece sticks out just enough so that you can actually pull them out when you're done. The price is fair, in my opinion. The customer service is fantastic. THE CONS: Not sure if this is a con per say but, if you're used to foam ones, you may wonder at first if you put them on deeply enough because you're still hearing more than you're expected. So this "uncertainty" is a slight drawback but probably unavoidable. I have used these twice now and both times, I struggled to remove them from the carrying case. And that's because they have to be pushed in deeply in order for the case to close. Another con at the time of this writing is that it's not clear how to clean these. While a pro is that you CAN clean them, written instructions don't really help. Videos would be MUCH MORE helpful. So while I gave this 5-stars, it's actually 4.5 because of this. WISHLIST FOR NEXT VERSION: 1- Ability to control the volume of the sound you hear. While this is MUCH better than foam in that you still hear everything just at a safe level, it would be nice if somehow they figured out a way for us to adjust the volume of what we hear, either thru a twisting motion of a part, or using some technology that may come around in the future. 2- Ability to light them up..maybe have microsized LEDs on there, and then be able to control their color from the app. Many dance parties involve glowsticks, and LEDs are the rage so I see this as something that would be cool.

I feel uncomfortable in noisy environments where there is music blasting, like some restaurants and gyms, and I have tried a few different earplugs over the years. I was initially skeptical about EarDial Earbuds because they claim an SNR of 20, which is lower than the noise reduction of most earplugs I have tried in the past. However, EarDial Earbuds are my favourite now! • EarDial Earbuds do not reduce the noise as much as some of the other earbuds I have tried, but this turned out to be a good thing! I can wear them frequently even when it is only a little uncomfortable. I do not have to take them off every time I have to talk to someone. I have not tried it yet in an extremely noisy situation like a concert, but for everyday situations, they are perfect. • The compact case is really small, I carry them on my keyring. This way, I have them with me all the time, so I end up using it more. You have to be a bit careful though, since the compact and discreet appearance makes them easy to loose. • EarDial Earbuds don't have too many separate components, so it is easy to clean them by rinsing with warm soapy water. Some other earbuds I have used have foam components or filters that cannot be washed. • Jesús Carrera, EarDial Founder, promptly are personally respond to queries and problems!

For whatever reason I was led to believe that this will cancel background noise but I will still be able to hear people (obviously within reason, this is not an electronic device after all). This is not the case, those earplugs mute everything. It's still ok for most of my needs anyway, they are still better than your typical ear plugs, at least I don't need to listen to my heart beat and whatever noises happen organically within my ear with them on, which is a great plus.
