Plantworks Ltd Empathy Lawn Feed Liquid Seaweed Stimulant 1L

This is simply the best product I have used in years of lawn care. For the last few years - even using the recommended fertilisers in spring and autumn - the grass has developed brown patches just above the soil level in various places and I realised I hadn’t used the Empathy liquid on it for some time. I used the ‘boost’ dose and within 7-10 days the lawn was thick, dark green and very healthy looking. I think that in periods of drought it might be necessary to moisten the grass slightly and the product needs to be applied regularly (2-3 weekly) but it only takes 10 minutes to apply the recommended dose to my lawn which is approximately 75m sq. to produce great results. A superb product.

My lawn loves this stuff, I rather like it too, for different reasons obviously. But it does need to be used regularly to retain the nice healthy green look, I find. Or maybe I just have a greedy lawn addicted to the 'stimulant' in the feed. Anyway, the effects are noticeable very quickly and as I have quite a small area of lawn, it lasts for 2 feedings.

This feed is liquid concentrated and I purchased this so my companion could feed her lawn. I also purchased the Hozelock spray adaptor and while it’s not mentioned that you can use this rather than a watering you can if you so wish. I normally apply 8 to 15 caps depending on the conditions in the Hozelock spray adapter and it’s used in between feeds that I apply. This product does not stain like Fe as long as you use it as per the label. The iron content will not kill off moss so if that’s what you are after then it’s best to look at other products but this does green up the grass rapidly as expected. It’s pet friendly too if that’s a consideration. Would I use this one product only, no as the grass does need a balanced diet but it can be used with great success with other feeds.

Whilst it did make the grass a little greener after a few days, unfortunately it made the moss within it go black so things actually look worse then they did before :(

This was great except the bottle was small so actually when you’re filling up a watering can at 10L you double dose which could’ve been made clearer in the instructions on the website. For example you will be using this twice a week on your grass alone according to the instructions on the back. I’ve since found a better product.

This product has improved my lawn a lot, it helps the germination of the grass seeds. Theres a lot I've done with my lawn forking it, raking it, then water it with this lawn feed and then grass seeding. It took a long time though but when the weather had a lot of rains week after week it did helped a lot. I could see the difference, its lush green compare to neighbouring lawn it's very green. It's not a perfect grass but I'm very happy with the result.
