I was thrilled when I saw the cabochons; however, when I glued them to the pendant holder or to "sticky stuff" to make pendants, the backing on the cabochon crackled and gave the appearance of "cracks" when looking at it. This completely ruined the smooth appearance. Typically, I only use glass beads for my jewelry but needed a large stone. I won't make the same mistake again.

Of tge 4 pieces I received, one had manufacturing nicks that made it unusable, 1 had a flaw making its use very limited, and 2 were flawless and beautiful. That makes these two costing over $5.50 apiece for plastic! I would have returned for replacement, but was under my own production crunch and didn't have time, especially since I could end up with no usable pieces. Typical Chinese product.

Very vibrant color, just like it pictures. Great backing for adhesive. These were perfect for the cosplay I was using them on.

I really enjoyed this product :). I used it for my pearl cosplay this year at comicon and it stayed in place fairly well. I would suggest using eyelash glue or preferably spirit gum to keep in place for an extended period of time. Overall though it was a cheap alternative to buying the gem individually.

Alright, i see all of the people viewing this also viewed/bought items for pearl from SU. Let me reassure you, this was the perfect size for me and the timing was great, it was a real risk for me ordering these so last minute but they came right on time for me, only took about a week to be delivered.

Like other reviewers here I bought these for a Pearl cosplay. I did my makeup and then put a dab of eyelash glue on the back of the gem and stuck it to my forehead. Lasted all day at Comic Con with no issues and looked great!

The metal backing prevents the sun from shining through the "stone", therefor not a good choice for stained glass projects. Otherwise shinny and reflective under the light. Wish there is a way to remove the backing!
