Beautiful to look at and use, BUT a serious fault.
I purchased this set one year ago and have used the smaller sizes frequently and I’m an experienced knitter. The set of needles and case are very attractive and good quality. The needles are comfortable to use and the points are very good with most yarns except for stranded cotton which I found too easy to split the stitch. I have found a serious problem so far with the needles, I have had to throw away 3 needles (1 size 3.25, 1 size 3.50 and 1 size 4.00 mm and the other size 4 is starting to show the same fault.) The fault is where the colours change at the V shape on the length of the needle. I have found that over time a weakness occurs which roughens the colour change to the extent that the stitches will not slide and catch on the fault. The needles are expensive to buy and should not have a fault like that. I will not be replacing with Knitpro again.

Heavy but nice.
I waited to use these needles a while before doing a review of these. I knitted a couple things on different sizes to get a good idea. I've found that i would prefer a smaller size of needles and am going to order a shorter set.One thing to keep in mind for people moving from bamboo needles is that they don't have the "grip" that bamboo needles do. However they do have more grip on the yarn/wool than metal needles. I've tried all of them so i've come to notice the difference. Although i do like metal needles, i have found that i knit too tight on metal needles. Knitting on these wooden needles or on bamboo needles helps me with my tension in a HUGE way. However because there is a coating on these needles they are easier to knit almost too tight on kind of like the metal needles. So i would say if you're a tight knitter - Go to bamboo needles to get your head around your tension. Metal needles are just too easy to knit too tightly on no matter how much i tried to loosen my knitting or tried increasing needle sizes. You could then move on to these wooden needles before moving onto metal needles. The wooden ones are kind of in between. You just have to keep reminding yourself not to knit tightly and constantly remind yourself to slacken off and not knit too tight. At least that's what i have to do when knitting. The needles are quite heavy but i did have the 35 cm ones so are quite long. I don't mind that but when you've got quite a big project that goes on - Your knitting can get quite heavy. I haven't knitted in the heat yet as so far i've only been knitting in winter. Good luck. Happy knitting!I forgot to mention. The case is BEAUTIFUL. It might not show it in picture but has a lovely design almost like embroidery on the case. It's absolutely beautiful and i love looking at the case. I was going to put them in something else but as soon as the case arrived with the needles i am totally keeping them in it.

A delightful gift ...
I have been a knitter for over 65 years and when my fingers began to 'hurt' I looked around for something to help. These needles were recommended to me because they are so much lighter than my oft used steel ones. They become warm while used and are a delight to knit with. I bought 2 pairs to see how I got on with them, but this set was a Christmas gift from my husband. The case is shiny black, and is a rather classy cover which completes a beautiful gift.I highly recommend them to any knitter with stiff and aching fingers ... but please, don't sit on them. They snap!

Great quality! I really like KnitPro!
These are amazing quality and I really enjoy using them! The colour is nice and, in comparison to others brands, they are an extremely reasonable price! This was a starter set for me so I’ve enjoyed it! Only real negative is that the tips can be a bit sharp which I wasn’t expecting but isn’t really a large concern and I would but again. I bought smaller ones from this brand and I really like the quality from KnitPro. I think it’s worth a go if you want a good quality, varied set without investing too much. Highly recommend!

Light. Smooth. A pleasure to use. 👍
I had tried some of the cable needles and was so impressed I decided to try the knitting needles, I received them this morning and have just spent an hour trying them out.... I am NEVER going to use another cheap bamboo needle again these are wonderful, it is heaven to use them. As I bought this set I will soon be ordering extras to replace all my old needles.

Lovely & comfortable to use. Well worth the money.
I had a pair of these needles as they were recommended by a friend. I am really happy with them so I decided to treat myself and get a set. They feel really nice and don’t make my hands and arms ache like the bamboo, metal or plastic ones did.The price appears high but it works out a lot cheaper than buying them individually so are well worth the money

Extremely satisfied knitter and a happier husband...
I love these needles, they are a pleasure to knit with and I'm so glad I bought them. My husband complains bitterly about the noise of the metal ones when I knit and is convinced these are quieter so that was all I needed to justify treating myself to them! The only thing I would say is that I wish they had some of the smaller, commonly used sizes in there too but I guess I'll just have to buy them as I need them! If you are a serious knitter then go on, treat yourself 😃
