I was looking for a mobile holder for a long time. My requirement was something which do not require permanent or semi-permanent installation in my car. I found this to be useful, because I can easily remove it and keep it aside when I do not need it. I also saw that there is a return period of 7 days, so wanted to purchase it just before I have to take my car out on some unknown rough roads, so that I can test it well during this returnable period.My son's board exams started and just before that, I purchased this car mobile holder, though the feedback score was not that impressive, but the recent feedback has been quite good. First thing I found is that this is quite light weight, small in size. As of now it fitted well in the main AC vent as you can see in the picture, though when I installed it on the side AC vents, it kept falling down when the phone was put on the holder. I do not use it in the landscape mode while driving, I kept it in the portrait mode, though when I was waiting for my son to complete his exam, outside the exam center, I used it in landscape mode to watch videos, etc. it did not cause any problem. I have used it a number of times till now for this past 8 days and it kept the phone firm enough on the holder. I had driven through very rough patches of country side roads but the phone never did rattle or cause any disturbance during driving. I have a Samsung S20 FE 5G and a Samsung A73 5G phone. A73 being of larger size and of higher weight. The mobile holder did a pretty good job with both the phones. Last of all, it does not block the visibility of the road and I did not face any issue while driving.I would recommend this car mobile holder to all those who wants to use google maps to navigate to their destination with ample flexibility to install it only when it is needed, without having to paste or modify anything on the car's dashboard.

I did give it one star less, though, because it's not suitable for landscape mode - this may not be an issue for lighter-weight phones. I've also fixed it over my Android music system, and it doesn't touch the screen at all, even though it's fixed on the AC vent above the system.
