I've had this tripod for about 3 weeks now and works exactly as I thought it would. I have a moto 4G phone which is about the size of an iPhone. The padded adjustable cradle grips the phone firmly. The cradle can be adjusted to almost any angle. The leg lengths can be adjusted individually and stay where they are. The build quality is the weakest part of the tripod. Its not that its delecate, its just that the springs in cradle feel like they might break if you try to force them to aggressively. I doubt it would last long in a kit bag without some sort of protection. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. For the cost it certainly does what I want it to do which is stand it on a desk at home.

This item is completely garbage. Don't purchase it ever you'll just be wasting money that can be used for something better. If you want to get a product like this to shoot videos for YouTube or streaming on Facebook then just spend a bit more money on a more secure product! I had this and it broke within seconds!

Beware - does not fit larger phones. Measure before buying. Will not fit my Samsung Galaxy S3 or Fairphone. A bit plasticky but does what it claims to do so my bad for not measuring before buying. Prob good for an iphone 5S or similar. Get that ruler out!

The holder doesn't expand enough to hold a "normal" phone. it has to be 3 inch screen or so. Nowadays all smart phones are 5 inch plus so this is pretty much useless. decent quality though.

Expandable legs fell off after a couple of user but otherwise it was ok. Wouldn't waste my money on it again though.

This item is ok for large surface areas, otherwise the phone you place in it will keep falling over, I used it for pics on a timed exposure. The cradle it sits in is very good, however the legs could be longer and have a feature that allows you to clamp the legs length...which sadly it doesn't

Absolute rubbish,It took ages to arrive and the quality is pathetic... I didn't even bother trying it with the phone.
