Beautiful excellent product. Exquisite handcrafted & polished pieces.Carry case is awsome quality as well.Only one tiny drawback.Was expecting higher quality of buckles on case no spring to the latches.Otherwise 5 star all the way!!

Holy heck this is a an amazing chess board!The craftsmanship shines through in every single piece. All artfully done and you can see the handcrafted love each piece took.The packaging was excellently done and resilient to the inevitable shipping dings that are expected.And the presentation of the board, the unboxing process were all top notch!The only quibble of a complaint was there the two tallest pieces didn't fit perfectly in the foam inlays and required a little finagling to settle in while packed away.

The chessboard and pieces are all handcrafted marble. It makes a great display piece. It comes with a nice leather carrying “suitcase” that fits all the parts nicely. There is great attention to detail and quality.There are only a couple of areas for improvement, nothing to take a star off for, but worth mentioning. First, the piece-carrying section isn’t sized exactly (for example, the King is a little too wide for any slot); I would have thought since the other parts are handcrafted, this would be also. Second, the bottoms of the pieces are polished and smooth, but using marble pieces on a marble board means scratching up that nice, shiny board. I would suggest adding some felt to the bottom of each piece to prevent this (something you can easily do yourself too).Overall, I absolutely love this set. It's gorgeous and impressive. It would make a great gift for the chess-lover in your life.
