If you like ginger with your sushi you have got to try this shredded version. It's sooooo much easier to eat - the shreds are easy to pile on top with a lot (we are ginger addicts) or just a few strands. Tastes EXACTLY like sliced ginger, just easier to bite and consume. I also use this in my lemon ginger chicken bone broth that I make in my pressure cooker. This particular order was a set of 12 small jars. I share them through out my family - we use a lot. The expiration date at 10/2022 - This order won't last through the end of this year, 2021 - so that's good. The arrived quickly and in good shape, each wrapped with bubble wrap. I just wish they would have been shipped standing up instead of on their sides - but so far I haven't noticed any losses. You do want to refrigerate after the jars have been opened. Maybe you don't want to start with an order of 12 jars, but I'm telling you, once you've tried the shreds, you won't go back. Plus, Ginger people ginger doesn't have artificial dyes or aspartame. Win/win!

The flavor of this ginger is fantastic. The convenience of purchasing a dozen means its always around the kitchen - and as a result, I've greatly increased the use of ginger in my cooking. Remember, ginger is an immune system booster ad powerful anti-oxidant!

Best ginger out there if you can't get fresh. Once a bottle broke during shipment but Amazon replaced it, so that shouldn't be a concern. I add this to Thai food & any other dish - including fruit recipes - that I can think of. Ginger People is a great product line.

I have ordered this many times. It really helps with stomach problems and indigestion. I always make sure I have it on hand. I keep it in the refrigerator and eat when stomach problems arise. I love the taste!

This is delicious and addictive. I add it to a salad with salmon, watercress, red bell pepper, jicama, scallions, snow peas, and Chinese flavors. Once the jar is open I can't resist taking small bites now and then. The liquid that the ginger has been soaking in is quite tasty too.

My latest package had a smashed jar and also a sliver of glass in one of the sealed jars. I'm buying the sushi ginger instead hoping they will fix the problem. I assume each product has it's own production line. This is my favorite ginger for salads, sushi and even meat dishes. It's easy to use and tastes great!
