The paper is not expensive and it is awesome for wrapping presents. It is gender neutral. It is heavy duty so you can't peak into it if it is. It goes with a color so you can use any ribbon you want on it. Honestly I do love it. I love the fact that as plain as it looks and what you can add to it. It really gives you the choice.

My family loves doing collages and this paper works great for doing collage-wrapped presents. It's thick, but not too thick... probably a little bit thicker than normal wrapping paper. It also could be saved and reused again if it doesn't get ripped during unwrapping.

Arguably my fault, assumed a standard length (or width) of paper roll but it's about 1/2 that... would be great for wrapping bouquets but pain for wrapping gifts

Before Christmas our municipality's latest newsletter mentioned that Christmas wrapping paper is not, repeat, not recyclable. And this was after I had everything. So, I was unaware of that and I felt horrible putting all of that wrapping paper into the garbage bin.Instead next year, I'm to use plain kraft paper and decorate it with a pretty bow, sprigs of evergreen and a handmade 'to' card. The paper can then be recycled again.This size would be for small to medium parcels. It's opaque and you can't see through it. This paper is already made from recycled paper.It would be great for kid's arts and crafts as well. Check with your municipality if it would be recyclable.
