Nice little water pump!
This pump works very well! Small compact size so it's easy to fit this anywhere. I'm using this in a tiny camper project Ford Transit Connect with very little space for anything, so every inch matters! I'm able to hide this right below the seat where it is out of view but still can be easily accessed if needed to.The pump performs well and the pressure is consistent. A little buzzing but I kind of like the feedback noise so i know when it is running. I have a number of other Seaflo brand products and they are all well designed and manufactured really good. Great price for an awesome little pump! Less than $40 for the luxury of running water! Good job Seaflo!

A Strong Pump, More than Adequate for Most Household and Automotive Applications
For me, the pump is going to be more than adequate. I'm using this for transmission fluid flushes in my personal vehicles. The pump has everything I need to perform the jobs except for the tubing that I will run between the pump and the transmission as well as the source of fluid, and I'm going to make a custom on off switch so that I can cycle the pump easily from underneath the vehicle. The quality of the pump and the flow rate as well as PSI are more than adequate for my needs and I'm very pleased with a build quality as well as the general heft of the item. I'm sure it capable of much more than my intended use, but maybe someday I'll come up with another reason to break this puppy out and put it through the paces.

It doesn't move water
The pump assembly looks reasonably well made. The flow direction is labeled across the top of the pump. I initially tried a 7 foot input hose with a foot long discharge hose. Even though a good 5 feet of the hose was coiled in a pail of water the pump wasn't able to self prime and pass water. I then cut the input line down to 3 feet, which again failed. I then reversed the two hoses so that the pump would only need to siphon a foot and push the output three feet down into the tub. The motor runs, but no liquid gets moved. I even tried submerging the output hose in case the "Flow" label was backwards. I can't say if the motor would shut down when backpressure was introduced, since I never created any output to restrict.

Great little pump
This little pump is well built with high quality. After reading the mixed reviews, I haven't come across many negative reviews on performance, more on quality control. Luckily my pump arrived intact and with connectors. I plan on using to help push the water flow on a solar outdoor shower. It just needs a slight push and this does the trick. It is a bit loud for a small pump, but this is the price that I pay for a some water pressure. The showers do not come with a pump, which they should, but this helps move the water. Easy to connect and did not come across any major issues.

Can't go wrong here
This is a review of the SEAFLO 23A-Series On-Demand Water Pressure Diaphragm Pump (1.5 GPM, 40 PSI, 12V). I plan to use this pump with a solar panel and a small battery to maintain water pressure in a small remote cabin. This pump has a built in pressure regulator that turns on and off with demand. I can’t set it up yet, but am testing it with a bucket of water and a small battery. I opted for the 1.5 gallon per minute flow at 40 psi version because I’m not pumping much elevation, and I wanted a little more flow. This will be used only for kitchen and bathroom sinks, and possibly a camp shower set up. I’m not sure I’m in love with the removable hose barbs, but I can envision certain situations where it would be helpful to remove/replace them quickly. This is a good quality pump, and it works great. You’ll want to be sure to place it within 5 feet elevation of your water source, because it doesn’t draw much further than that. I ran it on a small garden tractor 12 volt battery and it ran for a long time. it's pretty quiet when it's running too. You know, a four year warranty is almost unheard of for these small on demand pumps. You can’t go wrong here. I like it!
