Stop lookinh, just by it.
I have only had this a few days, however, what a TV. I have been using medium to high end Mini LEDs (Samsung and TCLs), and have been a strong fan of their brightness and pretty good local dimming, however, the blooming always took the edge off, expecially with gaming and movie dark movie watching. The C5 got a good cut in price so I took the plunge and I am glad I did. The biggest worry was the lack of brightness for me compared to mini led but, honestly, its a non issue, expecially if you can control the light in your room (this is the 42inch model, the 55 and above are even brighter). The motion and deep blacks against highlights are astounding. I still love Minileds, they are perfect for a bright room or a cheaper, good tv. But man, this TV is amazing for UHD movies and HDR PC gaming. Apple TV works excellently with it. Also, 42 inch monitor.is perfect if you can afford it and have a decent sized desk. Cant believe the money i have wasted on gaming monitors over the years when I should have just bought one of these.

Gorgeous OLED with a great build quality and OS.
The OLED panel is amazing. I tend to turn off all of the ai and post processing features and it still looks very impressive. The build is very nice. The OLED brightness is good, although I get some reflections on the screen which are par for the course for the glossy finish and WOLED's. The software is snappy, the settings are easy to navigate and clear to interpret and use.

Bright... So so bright.
Fantastic picture, great as a gaming monitor for me too. Couours just pop and hdr looks fantastic as this TV gets really bright. Speakers are OK ish. Better than a lot of TV speakers but you will want a better sound system. Set up is really fast and easy too. The only think that's a bit of a gimmick is the air mouse function. Might be useful for some people though. Everything else is simply stunning. Hopefully it lasts.

Brilliant picture and sound quality.
A brilliant TV with great picture quality and a lovely sound tone. The TV and remote are nice quality - solid and well-built. A decent weight, it is sturdy and looks really smart. When you switch it on, it opens onto the home screen, so you just select the TV or one of the apps. If you switch it off from Netflix, it opens directly onto Netflix again. To get back onto TV, you just press the ‘home’ button and select the TV option. The remote is the LG ‘magic’ remote which has a pointer which operates like a mouse. This can be a bit annoying at times, as it can be activated by a flick of the remote, which is quite sensitive and can be activated accidentally. You just press an arrow key to switch the function off again. (It will then pause what you’re streaming - meaning you have to press ‘play’ again, so a bit of a pain). It’s something that I’m just getting used to. Personally, it wouldn’t put me off the TV, as it’s such good quality. I’d definitely buy another one.

Not Enough of an Upgrade from the C2
I upgraded from the C2 after finding this on a good deal, but after using it for a few months, I was expecting a much bigger improvement. The picture quality is slightly better, and gaming performance is improved with higher frame rates, but the overall experience does not feel like a major upgrade. I expected the newer processor to make everything feel much smoother and quicker, but WebOS still feels bloated and frustrating to use. There are ads everywhere, some useful options seem to be missing, and the interface still does not feel as fast as it should for a newer TV. One feature I would really like is a simple option or shortcut to turn the screen off while keeping the audio playing. I often listen to things at night with the screen off, and this is more awkward than it needs to be. The remote has also been disappointing. After only a few months, some of the symbols have already started rubbing off, with a few completely gone. Would I upgrade from the C2 again after using this? No. I would have stuck with the C2 and waited for a later model. It is a good TV, but not enough of an upgrade to justify it for me.

Unreal picture quality & contrast
I am so glad I purchased this Tv! Everything about this Tv is great! The size is just right, and the picture is crisp! The quality of the image is amazing, especially for movies with a lot of dark scenes. It supports all the usual apps & I found it very easy to connect other smart devices The Tv was easy to set up, and the included stand works well. It is worth every penny!

Fantastc picture
Last TV developed a screen fault so had to be new one. After a small amount of research I went for this in the 55 inch. Can't believe how good the picture is. Not just HD but also SD as it upscales with AI? Amazon were excellent. There was an offer on and for free it was delivered, set up and all pacakging and old TV were taken away. Their TV also had an offer on so got over £100 knocked off the price. Well worth the money. It's also very light and thin and looks great on the supplied stand. The Magic Remote took some getting used to but I paired it with my Sky remote which makes life a lot easier. All in all I'm very pleased.

High quality with loads of connectivity
Bright, wide-angle display with good sound (though we also bought recommended sound bar). More expensive than 2024 model, probably because of increased screen brightness (OLED used to be less bright than other displays). Apps easy to use - only Acorn TV not available for which we still use Apple TV box. It has satellite, terrestrial, HDMI, Bluetooth, optical audio, Ethernet and WiFi connections - as our wired and WiFi networks have different addresses (bad setup on my part) it was good that both network connections supported at the same time: I can mirror from my iPhone over WiFi and stream from wired connection seamlessly. The colours are clear and black is black as there the pixels are active with no backlight. Very pleased - but might have bought a slightly bigger one!
