Fun and easy
I’ve made a few fun things using this, I think it’s a good way for people who do not want to invest in an entire jeweler’s setup to make silver pieces. Just make sure to constantly keep the clay wet and put some olive oil on any tools you will be using (lost half of the clay to an un oiled roller before)

Takes detail beautifully, looks great when fired and polished!
This is the first time I have used silver clay, and I'm really pleased with the results. Although there is not a lot of clay to work with, there's plenty to do a ring or a bezel for a stone in a necklace or any other small projects of that type.I was pleased with how well this clay took detail. I used it to make decorative bezel for a necklace pendant. I ended up firing it with a blowtorch because I don't have a kiln, and that seemed to have worked quite well. I had my doubts about it, but it polished up beautifully afterward. If you're using a blowtorch, make sure that you get it to cherry red at least for a moment before allowing it to cool. As I understand it, that's how to make sure that it's fired to the correct temperature.I really recommend looking up videos on using silver clay. There were a lot of things that I learned that were not included in the instructions.

Clay came tightly packaged. Amazing Art Form!
I'm so excited to try this PMC Silver. It's a craft that I've been interested in for years but never felt that I had the right supplies. However, I've learned that this clay can be fired with a torch (like a culinary torch that's easily affordable) because this clay fires at/above 650 degrees and culinary torches can heat up to 2,000 degrees.I have been watching lots of YouTubes prior to opening the package because I want to have my initial design and plan in place prior to opening (you don't want your clay to dry out so seal any unused portions). This came with 2 packages of 20 oz silver clay and 3 sand papers of various grits. I suggest that if you're new to this art form that you spend some time researching techniques/watching artist demos - there's so much shared knowledge out there that I feel confident that I'll create something(s) beautiful with this clay!

LOVE!
I had been wanting to try silver metal clay for a long time. this was so much fun. A little frustrating. That was my fault. I made a charm to start. I got impatient and tried to fire it before it was completely dry. At first I thought it was ok but then after I fired it I tried to polish it and it broke. So sad. Learn from my mistakes. it was easy to work with. When I made the charm I used a rubber stamp (lightly coated with coconut oil). It looked super cute. The second thing I did was buy some silicone molds for nail charms. I intended to put the charms on a ring. They turned out so cute! I’m going to make more and actually put a ring together. I have been having so much fun with this. I can't wait to work on my next project.

Very exciting to make and cure silver items at home - read and watch videos before investing
I had been investigating silver clay and I was happily pleased to be able to order some. It handles about like polymer clay, but must be cured at a higher temperature, which thankfully can be accomplished with a butane torch. It is a learning experience to work with it and cure it, which it unfortunately cost a bit more than polymer clay, but it is real silver. With it being $73 when I received it, I would suggest watching videos online to learn about working with silver clay and curing silver clay before investing in it.I am very pleased with the Japanese Decor Sakura Art Silver Clay. It is amazing to be able to create silver items and cure them at home. It comes with sand paper to smooth and perfect the items.

Professional quality
I have always wanted to experiment with silver clay. I've been watching lots of YouTube videos on how to use the clay. Many of the videos show the use of this brand of clay. You do need some skills to work with this clay. I've dabbled with pottery and the techniques are similar, but you are working on a much smaller scale. I like that you can use a butane torch to fire the clay as I don't have a kiln. I would recommend doing research and watching videos on how to work with the clay before doing so.It is pretty costly, but all silver clays are. From what I'm seeing this is in the ballpark.
