Anyone know how to connect an external lav mic? i have the shure mvl but this is not being picked upwhen plugged into the transmitter.

The M650 Wireless Microphone can work with other lavalier microphones. But the transmitter contains a 3.5 mm TRS Aux-in port. Lavalier microphones with TS or TRRS connections are not compatible.

Do the transmitters save files internally? If so, what fileformat and at what quality? 24bit 48Khz wavs by chance?

Yes, each transmitter comes with built-in storage to record up to 7 hours of audio. The recording file is in WAV file format with a sample rate of 48kHz and a bit depth of 24 bits.
