Proxxon 28941 Hand Tools Supplies & Accessories

Easy to fit to drill, easy to use and real time saver when switching between drill bit sizes. Very happy, wish I had known about it long ago.

The media could not be loaded.  This Chuck made all the other ones obsolete, easy to use fast to replace drill bits and the milling heads up to 3.2mm.It fell short as hand tightening wast enough for us so we adapted it to have a stronger hold.All in al great item at a reasonable price that’s serving us well.

Fairly good but will not accept larger spindle sizes so will not replace collet system.

I have a number of collets supplied with the original kits so I could use drill bits of different sizes. With this one, many of those have become redundant, and this one is pretty much permanently fitted to my mini drill tool. So useful!

fitted easy no problems first class

A lot quicker than changing collets, very useful.

Just a word of warning that whilst advertised to replace the collets on Proxxon drills it certainly didn’t achieve the goal with either of my two.It’s the same size as the Chuck that comes with the flex Drive……which already has one the same.Disappointed and for me misleading product information as no list of which drill (s) it can be used with hence my low score.In conclusion: Nice quality just doesn’t fit my Proxxon drills.

Good product but over priced

I've had my Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 35,000 RPM Variable Speed Rotary Tool for over a decade and have been mostly happy with it. Always hated the poor quality stock chuck which forced me to use a wrench/tool to fully tighten and remove the bits. Over time, the jaws deformed and the bits would wobble dangerously at moderate to high tool speeds. It got to the point where I started avoiding the tool.Then I decided to try my luck with this tool free chuck from Proxxon. Now my HF Rotary Tool is better than ever and I have zero fears about using it at high speed. The bits stay perfectly centered and get a positive mount every single time using just fingers and the stock yellow lock tab. Very minimal, almost non existent wobble throughout the whole speed range with all my attachments and bits.Very happy with this mod/repair and will absolutely recommend it to anyone.Minimal mods required, I don't recall fully but I think all I had to do was chop down the original circular plastic trim piece with a hacksaw blade to clear the deeper mounting base on the new chuck. I suppose you could use the tool without the trim ring, but I prefer to keep it on. See my detailed pics.

Aber Achtung,.. passt nur auf die angegebenen Maschinen. Und das sind leider nur wenige. Es gibt auch zwei verschiedenen Biegsame Wellen. Die mit dem BF hat eine kürzere Überwurfmutter. Passt leider nicht auf den IBS/E. Der angepriesene Vorteil von Spannzangen ggü. dem Bohrfutter, bzgl. Rundlauf kann ich nicht bestätigen.Die laufen beide absolut rund.
