Great content overpriced!
Not quite what I expected. Some 40 pages if I remember correctly. Basically the script from a lecture of his. Content is great!!! Can't fault that... Covers some great points and would recommend reading to any architect... BUT... Very expensive for what it is!! Priced like a collectable item. Your decision!?!

A nice easy read
A great read for any architecture student interested in Zumthor. Quite an abstract book but it gives interesting insight into the mind of the architect

The viewer impact
While studying architecture in first year and applying research to create a space with a visual impact, Atmospheres was by far the most inspirational book from design block. Not only are you learning the fundamentals of architectural design but how people react within space and what design factors contribute to your understanding of the space. Also the book illustrates some images of projects so it is short, informative, interesting by justifying the essay itself.A must read for all architecture students and people alike!
