good training tool
This is more expensive but it is a good collar. It has a good range and several settings so it is very adjustable. Having the three different buttons is a good feature so I can use different settings depending on what the dog is doing at the time without having to adjust anything. Have had it for several months now with no issues.

A Transformational Tool
After a disappointing experience with a budget e-collar that left my dog more stressed than trained, I was hesitant to invest in another. The leap of faith was worth it. This high-quality e-collar has been a game-changer in our training routine. Its ability to adjust to very low stimulus levels means my dog responds without any stress or fear, a critical factor in effective training. The lock button is a feature I didn’t know I needed, but now can’t live without. It eliminates the worry of accidentally increasing the intensity, allowing me to focus fully on the training session. However, the standout feature has to be the boost button. It's brilliantly designed for moments of higher distraction, gently reminding my dog to focus without overcorrection. In just one week, the change in our walks is night and day. No more tears of frustration for me; we're enjoying our time together, and my dog's responsiveness, even to the first call back indoors, has improved dramatically. It's not just an e-collar; it's a bridge to better communication with my dog. Absolutely a 10/10 purchase.

Would have lost my mind without it!
Awesome collar! Used this with my very stubborn heeler pup. I mainly wanted this for recall. It was hit or miss whether she would come when called (mostly miss), especially when she was distracted. It does take some time to get your dog used to it, but once you get the hang of it its very easy to use. My pup is 5 months now but we are off leash in the yard and woods. This is also great for corrections when you can’t get to the dog fast enough.I use the collar at a level 3 which I can’t even feel. Boost at 13 which I can feel but isn’t painful. I use boost for when she tries to herd my daughter, and worked great for training her not to eat the chickens. The vibrate really does nothing for her except cause her to itch her neck.I’ve not tested the range, it’s plenty for my purposes and we’ve not even got close to needing the full range. We have tested the water proofing many times and never had any issues there.I guess the only negative is that she chewed the bungee cords off where she could reach them immediately, luckily there was enough left to still use.Overall this was definitely worth the money. I would’ve lost my mind without it! My dog now helps me with the chicken chores and comes with me to check trail cams, no leash needed and it’s great. She’s actually excited when I get it out because she knows it’s off leash time!

Dies after a year. Horrible customer service!
I really wanted to love this product cus it’s great to use until it breaks! Customer service is extremely poor! My dog stopped responding to the collar. I sent it in to have repaired and they took forever, so I bought a new one. They sent it back and it broke again! The second one ended up fading out as well, which could’ve been really dangerous for my dog with extremely high prey drive. I had both units for a year until they’ve finally died. Don’t waste your money!

Better than the rest
After trying and returning or giving away 2 cheaper systems and 2 equally expensive systems....I am confident in my 5 star rating of this e collar product. The set up info was simple by comparison with easy access to writen, illustrated and you tube video options that both experienced and inexperienced owner/handlers can readily utilize. I am pleased with the collar and handheld units as they are simple functionality and neither unnecessarily large, heavy, clunky in comparison to several competitive brands I have returned . I appreciate the feel of this product in hand and its simplified button system. I am able to pretty readily determine the correct button by "feel" ...unlike competitors which have had too many options for the average owner (IMO)

My reactive dog can watch dogs pass her fence without yelling at them
I love almost everything about this collar. My dog had a rough first 2 years of her life, from an abusive first owner to an entire year in the shelter before I found her. We have faced some challenges in the year and a half she’s been with me. She’s been aggressive toward people walking along the street while she’s in the fenced in backyard. I muzzle trained her because I was so concerned she would bite somebody. Last summer she was terrified of fireworks. I followed guidance from trainers recommending no aversive measures and she just got worse. The final straw was when she escaped three different times inside a month and found the $350 show chickens down the street. Thankfully the chickens have a high fence she hasn’t figured out how to get around, so no birds were harmed. I hunted for any means to improve her training and found Tom Davis’s YouTube channel. I like his training style and very much respect how he explains e-collars, so I decided to give it a try.In just over 2 months, I now have a dog who will recall off a squirrel or dogs walking past her fence. Passing walkers and dogs might get a growl and a bark, but she comes back to me before I even call her half of the time now. Somehow, I also do not have a dog afraid of going outside in the evenings even though fireworks were just as brutal this year as they were last year. This collar works exactly as Dogtra and Tom Davis describe. The remote is easy to use. I have my dog on a 4 setting with a boost of 4 (meaning a setting of 8 when boosted) which I do still need when dogs take us by surprise. The only thing I don’t like is the collar. I thought I would like the easy elastic collar, but it’s a pain to put on for a squirmy dog. I still can’t get her to sit still! I recently switched the collar out for a regular buckle, and with the size of her neck I like it better. The stretchy ties were really too long for my girl, but her big pitty head (and squirminess) made it so that shortening them wouldn’t have worked. I can see it working better on much larger dogs.

Excellent response!
Excellent response from dogs. Still working on timing, but excellent product. Buttons are easy to work.
