This was amazing! My 6 and 3 year old grandchildren enjoyed doing it as a surprise for their parents. It worked exactly as described and the result was beyond my expectations. Be sure to practice the hand positions. We made a game of counting off the time. It is only 2 minutes, but still a while for a 3 year old. He was fine counting, but I held their wrists steady while the mold dried. The plaster mixed up as directed and dried enough to unfold in the specified time. I put it on our furnace room where there is dry air and the hands dried completely in a couple of days. I ad absolutely no problems with this kit and everything worked perfectly. I would buy again and again.

The media could not be loaded.  I loved it ! Works fine .. you have to follow the instructions it says add 8 cups water to the molding powder and it also states that the cups have to be 8 oz a total of 64oz of water, just thought I’ll add that since I seen another review about it .. follow the instructions and it will work .. I will be buying again to do more

I have a 7yr old, 13yr old and 19yr old. I wanted to place one of each of their hands together- small to large - well their fingers barely made it in before the solution set up. Even if it didn’t set up too quickly, the palms of their hands would have never made it in because the solution only filled up half of the bucket. Wish I would have taken photos but I was too upset. This was supposed to be a gift. What a wast of money!

I would recommend using a little bit less water than the directions state. The first time I tried this, following the instructions, it was quite runny and did not set. The second time I purchased, I used less water and it came out perfect. Great keepsake!

GARBAGE! I mix alganate material every day of my life for dental impressions and this is the worst mix I have ever seen. I mixed it exactly as the directions stated and the dry clumpy balls would not even out. It is a waste of money. This deserves zero stars. ZERO.

Do not buy this. The instructions state to add exactly 8 cups of water to the molding powder. This is too much. It comes out like soup. The wait time for the mold to set is 3 mins. We waited 8 and it still was not set up. A complete waste of money.

Terrible! Two normal sized adult hands did not fit in the provided bucket. Subsequently we ended up with a $50 blob! Would not recommend for a pair of adult hands. Might be ok for a child's hand, but removing the hand without messing up the cast is much more difficult than advertised.

This was given as a gift to my newly engaged son and future daughter in law. They loved the idea of a casting of their hands!
