Although I’ve only had my water jug for a short time, I’ve already experienced many of the benefits of this product. Firstly, I noticed that unlike some water filtering jugs, the Phox, when the top tank has been filled and we’re waiting for it to filter through to the bottom, in other jugs one has to wait until the water has completely filtered through to the bottom tank before the jug can be tipped to pour a glass, otherwise the remaining water in the top still filtering through to the bottom ends up pouring out into the glass with it! Happily, the phox jug is sealed and allows a glass to be poured almost immediately which I found to be a wonderful feature. Also I love the oblong shape of the jug, no silly shape that doesn’t fit the fridge door neatly if required. And the handle and water inlet lid being coloured added to its attractiveness. The handle, white, with simple bluey-turquoise trim, and inlet lid that same colour made it looks contemporary and youthful and therefore life-giving! I bought mine for the Alkalising function, and I’m impressed with the clean taste of the filtered water. And I love the (completely overdue) idea of a refillable filter! How obvious has this idea been! And it’s taken this long to create it!? Well done phox! And to have a choice of what you want filtering out, not just fluoride, is fabulous. Altogether I’m very impressed with the product overall. Particularly the price of the product and the affordability of the refills - they’re not like printers - where they charge very little for the machine itself but you need a loan to be able to refill the ink! I love my Phox water filtering jug. 10/10 for price, function, aesthetics, innovation and speedy delivery.

I’ve been buying a branded alkaline water in the UK for a while now as suffering from the effects of acid sensitivity in my stomach. I looked into filters as a cheaper more sustainable method and I’m so glad I did. After a lot of research I went with the Phox wave alkaline. Initially the setup video took some time to get me underway but I’m so glad I made the switch. The water quality is great. The water has a smooth, light and maybe slightly sweet texture and taste. I actually decided to test the alkalinity of the Phox filter against my tap water and the bottles of branded alkaline water using litmus paper. Interestingly although the Phox didn’t raise the alkalinity of my tap water by much it produces water around PH8-9 and I was amazed to see that the branded water was around PH 7 which is basically neutral! I will be sticking to the Phox as it works out a fraction of the price of buying bottled alkaline water and it’s helping me drink lots more as it’s genuinely lovely to drink. By the way it also makes a great cup of tea/coffee!

I was cautious whether or not these products work. I suffer with ibs amongst other digestive issues. I always have a more settled stomach when abroad and always drink bottled water. Due to the cost of them here in the uk I tried using this and purifying/filtering into mineral rich water. It has worked wonders with the stability of my gut health with a much nicer taste that is provided through the tap. It fits in the fridge door perfectly and the filters are easy to change. Great value for money compared to buying bottled water. Made with strong material with a clear plastic to help you see how much purified water you have left. However I always keep mine topped up. 100% recommend of which I already have to friends and family.

Love the taste of the water and it works well. Quite easy to change filter.. only thing is when you change filter the water takes ages to filter for a while.

I bought this to filter water for my grand baby. After many water filters we have tried the water still left a scummy residue on top of hot drinks. After I bought the PHOX system we now have perfectly crystal clear water fit for hot drinks and safe drinking water for babies. I would highly recommend this product.

I really wanted to like this jug. I have been using the phox Brita compatible filter for several years and very happy with it. I needed a new jug, I wanted to support this brand, so I bought their jug (for alkaline water as usual). But it doesn't run through. I have filled my blue phox Brita one several times a day, for several years, so easily 2000+ times overall and never a problem. I've filled this one several times a day for the past 10 days and it has never once run right through, even after 10 hours over night, the white reservoir still 1/3 full, and the jug over half empty. Like the photos in others reviews. Clearly a design fault because their Brita compatible one works perfectly. I've opened up the filter, stirred the granules. Taken some out, but it just seems to clog and the reservoir water pressure insufficient to push all the water through. Driving me nuts. I may have to buy a Brita jug, dump the included filters (along with this frustrating phox jug) and go back to the old blue one I have. Not the eco solution I wanted, at all. On the plus side, it may be that this ultra slow, half volume water is perhaps a tiny bit clearer tasting - though their standard Brita refill is already great. So not remotely enough to make it worthwhile to have a jug in which the white filter is suspended in mid air out of contact with water all the time and not enough filtered to fill up my water flask to take to work etc... Very frustrating. Buy the Brita compatible one, reliable and great. I've also seen a glass Brita compatible jug for a good price on Amazon too. Unfortunately, too late for me to return this, because I used up my open phox refill in my old Brita compatible cartridge before getting round to starting this one, and now the return window closed.
