Dean Markley2038 Blue Steel Acoustic Guitar Strings 13-56 Medium

These strings really are excellent quality. I have, over the years, tried many different makes and types of string, but they have all been much the same, nothing to write home about, but these have a beautiful rich tone, and give your guitar a resonator type quality. This is the first time I have ever been aware of a set of strings sounding different, and they are a reasonable price too.

I put these on my Fender acoustic, I was blown away at their tone and clarity. Cryo treatment is by no means a gimmick, it does make a difference, highly recommend you to try these.

The strings are very good but the packaging is awful . The strings are all bundled together and I had no idea which one was which . I had to measure the thickness to see which one was the 1string E ect . In the past strings were packaged with the the label for each string clearly marked . Baffling to be honest

They sound pretty good, very clear but still with plenty of bass. However I find these very hard on the fingers. They feel like they are very high tension. They are also very squeaky. Not the strings for me

The strings may not have the greatest bass response but on my Gibson J-50 that lends the guitar a well rounded sound. Not to brash, not twangy, just nice to play and a lovely sound - my new #1 choice! For years I have been a d'addario man and still prefer their EXL and NYXL for my tele, but Dean Markley's cryogenic strings are the ones for my J-50!

These particular strings were highly recommended by a friend. He wasn't wrong. Competitively priced and prompt delivery.

I had an old tatty guitar and was quite surprised at the nice sounds the strings gave the guitar.These would definitely sound great on a well built guitar for sure.

The guitar I use these strings on has a naturally warmer tone. These strings pair really great with that. The bottom end is rich and full and mud-free, and the highs are bright and clear without getting tinny or sharp. They feel good, they play great, and they last a really long time before showing wear

I changed the strings on a Resident's Epihone Acoustic guitar where my wife works,. . he insisted on Blue Steel strings, I later learned why, "Quality and Sound". . .👍
