You can't put 10 tons of fertilizer in a one ton truck
It didn't work. Why? Because I tried to connect old technology (an ancient monitor) to current technology (an HDMI cable). The old technology is simply not compatible with the current technology. I had the conversion connector but the old technology didn't supply the power needed. Do your homework before you buy. The crossover tech probably won't work if it is 10 years apart.

Thought all cords were omni directional HDMI to vga didn't work. Amazon came through for me as no store carried vga to hdmi
