This cable worked for me
I was looking to use a better microphone/headphone combination than wearing my smartphone headphones. This adapter allowed me to use a single earpiece and a Rode Smartlav microphone. The combo works well and looks much better on camera.

This product is something to look into getting
This product works great on a headset. I needed one for my g230 which needed a female splitter for the mic and headphone jack to go into. I totally recommend the headphone splitter adapter to anyone looking for one. The feel of the product feels very durable and does it’s job.
