It has thermos properties
Had a small leak on a flat aluminum travel trailer roof which required removing the ceiling and insulation inside to find it. Could not find it from the roof but after removing the ceiling and insulation, where it leaked, could see five small pin holes from the sun shining in from them. After reading reviews for these type of products to be used as a water sealant, decided on this brand for price, ease of application and discovered it spreads so smoothly was able to do three applications for an area that the container said would do only one application. There is a huge benefit to multiple thin applications versus one and some draw backs but multiple has the advantage of being more durable. Which I inadvertently had to test since the drainage pattern from the condensation from the air conditioner had changed, needed to lower a dam so used a hammer to lower it. Fully expected the material to pull away from the surface after the pounding but it remained adhered to the roof surface, which could have something to do with the primer too but nice to know it can take a beating and not flack. But the real surprise, and still find unbelievable, is the aluminum temperature on the underside (have not put insulation or ceiling material back) measures, using my Etekcity Infrared Thermometer, as the same temperature as the thermometer in the shade, when the roof is in full sun This aluminum roof without the product and only an inside reading at the ceiling, BEFORE, with insulation in between it measured 10 degrees hotter. Also took a couple measurements before while the ceiling was open with just bare underside of the aluminum in full sun on a cool spring day showed the underside of the aluminum was 100 degrees, while outside temperatures were 65 degrees. The bare aluminum is gathering heat and conducting it Here is the part which is unbelievable, and could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on winter or summer, measured the temperature of the roof in the evening after the sun has gone down, air temperature was 64 degrees, the roof temperature with this product, no sun light on it, showed all surface area measured 6 to 8 degrees COOLER than the surrounding air. It does not absorb the heat and radiates it back. I do not know all the science involved only know what I measured, and expecting a substantial savings in air conditioning cost This is the only product of this type have any knowledge but if they all work like this one everyone needs to put it on their roof, just know this one seems to be a miracle product, so highly recommend it.

Sealed Houseboat Roof
We have an old houseboat that has a classic houseboat, open roof (white like a standard rental houseboat). It has been coated with so many sealants over the years that it is hard to determine what the surface actually consists of. Unfortunately, years of the roof exposed to rain and sun, combined with misc. damage and/or small cracks have created a problem and the roof leaks during rain. We have tried a variety of methods to seal the roof including rubberized tape, caulking-like paste, etc. Found this product and wanted to try it because it has a "two part" application process (primer then sealant). Applied the primer as instructed and followed recommended drying/coating times. Product was very sticky as it cures. So sticky that if you step on it with your shoe it will stick so much that you can pull your foot out of your shoe. Applied the sealant on top of the primer after waiting the recommended drying time (two coats of primer and two coats of sealant). Of course we scrubbed the surface clean before did the application and the application was completed during the heat of the day (+90F). No rain came for several weeks and oddly the surface stayed sticky/tacky. It seemed like maybe it would never completely cure. Fast forward two months and the surface finally cured (no longer tacky). We are now seeing record setting rain fall in Northern California (and snow) and we do not have one leak (we have never had a winter season where the roof didn't leak). Very impressive. Besides being a little concerned that the roof might be sticky/tacky forever, this product seems great. It even coated over flex tape and/or previous patch material. Application material cured white (primer appears a little eggshell in color but seems to cure white and/or covered white by the sealant). The product leaves a surface that feels (after it cures) similar to the original "blended surface" (not thick, spongy, stiff, etc.). If this product holds strong through our wet season, I will be sure to coat/recoat the entire roof (I only coated approximately 14 x 16 foot square patch where our trouble/leak spots were). And/or use on my RV roof?

Great product
Rolls on thick but definitely needs 3 coats to fully cover. Sealed up every pinhole on the rough. Dried in 3 hours at 80 degrees out.

Works really well on my Texas RV.
You can't go wrong with liquid rubber. They're great with helping you ensure the product works well by providing step by step instructions if needed, so no need to be afraid to try it.

Awful
There is either something wrong with the sealant I received or this is a garbage product. No matter how much I mixed it this had the consistency of extra chunky cottage cheese. It was impossible to roll on to the roof. Huge waste of money and time

Good sealant...waterproofs within minutes.
Easy to apply, just like "brushing on rubber." I used this on my 2008 5th wheel roof seams. The only thing I didn't like is the way I applied it...and that shouldn't reflect on the product. I needed to put on multiple coats. Where I laid it on 'thick' by dabbing the paint brush worked awesome. Sticks like glue, and I'm not worrying about the original cracked roof caulk anymore !! Where you brush it--it stays put. It doesn't run easily and will bridge 1/8 cracks and gaps well.

Easy to apply
Great product! I used this product to reseal my rv roof. I have sheet metal on my rv roof. Unfortunately, the old sealant was beginning to deteriorate. I used this product to reseal the area between the vents, other openings and the sheet metal roof. I used a cheap paint brush to apply. I applied 3 coats, which took about 30 minutes per coat to apply. My roof has 6 vents, one seam across the width of the trailer, and 3 other small openings that needed resealing. This new sealant dried quickly and was dry in about 4 hours, allowing another coat to be applied. The product had very little smell when applying, and was pretty similar to painting with a thick paint. I was quoted $1,200 to reseal my roof. The total cost to me using this product was about $50 and 1.5 hours of my time since I used about half of the gallon. My only mild complaint was that the plastic lid was hard to remove initially. Since the manufacturer says the product is UV stable, hopefully it will last a long time.
