They work great...
They create a tighter fit for those battery operated pumps, instead of having the pump sit up there all sloppy. Probably keep out some dirt and dust I would guess, as well.

WHY DIDN’T I FIND THESE SOONER
So if you’re looking at this product. You must have some type of gallon you refill with water. I was skeptical at first because these just slip over the top of the bottle and I was worried the force of the water would throw these off and water would spill everywhere. That is NOT the case. Once these silicone caps go over my 5 gallon water container, it STAYS on there firmly. This is a huge game changer and the hose to our water machine fits perfectly over the entire silicone cap. I can’t believe I didn’t know about these sooner.

Silicone caps for 4 gallon water jug
These silicone caps make it easy to transport my 4 gallon jugs when I refill them. They stay on & go on easily. They are a pretty blue color.

I'm so grateful I finally found some caps that fit my bottles! They are very sturdy and stay on during transport. I liked them so much I brought more for additional bottles!

Covers nicely but pops off without hesitation if bottle tips over
Seals well uprightHas a covered opening in the lid for bottom loading water machines which helps keep opening mostly closed while tube is in the bottle.Dislike that it is not tight enough if tipped over for example while turning in the car that the lid won't pop off...ask how I found that out. ..
