No marks on steering wheel had other steering wheel locks that was not as good as this one would recommend it to anyone

When you lock the iten on the wheel, you will hear a beep and it will be activated. After a few seconds, you will see the red light flashing and it's working.

Q: Why does my lock not beep nor the led flash

Check or change the batteries. It should beep when you lock the jaws of the lock around the steering wheel.
