Would this be suitable to replace a TCP 24v/45w, has it the bulgin 3pin?

The simple answer is NO. I had to make a converter between lockable DIN (5pin) to Bulgin and the pins are swapped.

Would this be suitable to work with a Weller PS-2D base?

If you are prepaired to change the plug to fit the PS-"D then yes. That is what I did

Habe diesen als Ersatzteil bestellt. Dieser Weller Lötkolben ist auf lange Haltbarkeit ausgelegt. Mein Defekter war über zehn Jahre im Professionellen Betrieb im Einsatz durch die bleifrei Umstellung wurde er funktionstüchtig ausgemustert. Ich habe ihn privat weitere Jahre benutzt und bin überaus zufrieden. Wenn der neue genauso lang hält hab ich die nächsten 20 Jahre ruhe.

stilo saldante da 50W in bassa tensione, 24Vac, che non ti abbandona mai, un po costoso ma usando la punta appropriata puoi saldarci di tutto, dall'SMD ai componenti ingombranti, per me sono il massimo per la saldatura, ne ho diversi modelli, da quello a temperatura regolabile elettronicamente a questo con magnastat meccanico e non li cambierei con nessun altro tipo di marca diversa, consigliatissimo.

Pour ma station de soudure achetée en 1997, on trouve encore la panne correspondante, qui m'a lâchée après de bons et loyaux services, chez le fabricant, cela mérite une sacré médaille !. Un exemple à méditer. Que vouloir de plus ? Que cette panne m'accompagne durant les 25 prochaines années pour les travaux de modélisme !
