This charger goes through multiple charging modes to give the optimal charge safely to our batteries. It seems fairly foolproof and has worked fine for several months.

I bought this for my lead acid batteries because I like the trickle charge feature and then I upgraded to lithium and it works for lithium too so didn't need to buy another charger highly recommend this charger

Works great, just dont let it get wet at all or it will stop working. Had to reorder it once becuse of rain.

Great product with 36v and 48v settings for lithium ion golf cart battery conversion

I am using it to charge a LiFePO4 battery for a golf cart. It works just fine. It never got to a full 18 amp on a 36v (38v) battery. That I am sure had to do with the fact the battery was already half charged from the factory.The build quality is very good, at least from the outside. I would recommend it given how it has operated so far.

I purchase this product to charge a 36-volt lithium battery. It was purchased on 3/5/2024 and received on 3/7/2024. I used it three times between 3/7/2024 and 5/10/2024. The 30-day return window elapsed on 4/7/2024. On the third charge, the cord short-circuited, causing an arc that melted the wire at the point where the D-style charge cable plugged into the charger. I contacted Amazon, and they instructed me to contact the seller via their app. I made the contact and, after three text messages, was told they could not provide a replacement part but would give me an $8 credit. An $8 credit on a $151 purchase was an insult. I suggested they send me a new unit, and I will return the original charger. The company rep sent a sarcastic response, suggesting I accept the $8 offer. I do not recommend this product or any product sold by Defabee. I would rather pay more for an American-made product from a company that stands by their products.

The charger works fine, no problem there.When I was using it I noticed that the shrink wrap that covers the DC leads to the battery had slipped off the connector.So it looks like whoever originally made this connection stripped away too much insulation off the wires and left naked wires outside of the connection point.Very poor workmanship. This could cause a short, ruining the charger.I'm glad I caught It before it shorted. I'll repair it myself, but the manufacturer needs to pay attention to this.The manufacturer needs to send me a new cord.
