Only mobile data service is supported, neither voice, SMS nor value-added services. Mobile data service is only accessible in Mainland China and Hong Kong, but not in other areas. China Mobile (CMCC) and CMHK must be the designated roaming network operator when using this card in China or HK. Where this prepaid SIM card is expired, or where service has been terminated due to whatever reasons, the remaining data usage shall be non-refundable and non-transferable. Tethering is supported in South Korea. When customer is located out of 4G coverage in Hong Kong, CMHK will provide service via 2G/3G network within 2G network coverage.

Did its job.
It worked well in mainland, just be aware that as the product states, making/receiving calls and sending texts are not possible. It is however possible to receive texts on your +852 numbers, useful for accessing public wifi hotspots if they support +852 numbers (usually not the case in mainland though).

Absolutely perfect.
Absolutely perfect. Got a phone in China to make sure it would work. Put this sim in and go. It does take up to 24 hours to activate once you put the sim in and run the code to activate though.

Excellent purchase
Inserted sim in iPad in China and worked minutes later. Was able to go on Facebook, google.co.uk etc. Could top the SIM card up online. A tip for China travel, get the DiDi taxi app, excellent and in English. The SIM card allowed us to use Google translate - would have been impossible without
