Ecologie Tea-Towels, 100%-cotton

This product is beautifully illustrated and interesting, informative and colourful. I'd been looking for some decent, premium quality tea towels. But I felt a bit let down by this, and similar products in the range I bought.On the plus side, this towel measures 19.5" x 27" - a decent size. It's been well hemmed on all four sides, and the hanging loop is strong and well sewn but the towel only weighs 70g - nothing like the heavier duty cotton I was expecting.The cotton fibres felt quite starched when new and needed to be washed to soften it before use, but this product shrank in a 40c wash and the initially vibrant colours quickly faded, as did the accompanying text of the fungi.I was expecting a much better quality item for the current price. Sainsbury's tea towels are better than these, for a third of the price.An expensive mistake.

Nice quality tea towel. Interesting subject matter

An interesting and informative tea towel, it washes well and more importantly it dries well too. I've grown mushrooms myself so it's more enjoyable to use than a standard tea towel.
