It's bigger on the inside!!
The Basic FeaturesMeasurements and stuff are in the description, so just a quick run-down of what you see in the photos:The main compartment has twin zips with paracord pulls. The space inside is just a touch too small to fit an FAL magazine, but most Otterboxed Smartphones will fit easily in terms of height/width. Depthwise, you can get three such phones in. The compartment also has half-height slip pockets on either inner face, each of which can just about hold a Molleskine softcover notebook, but it's a very tight squeeze. The front bellows compartment is massive, actually bigger than the main and easily holding a can of Coke. This too has a 4/5th height slip pocket on one inner face, and on the other a narrow half-height slip pocket which seems ideal for a couple packs of water purification tabs. The front compartment is wrapped with a length of shock cord and sprung cord lock to pull it in. The front flap over it secures with a strip of Velcro™ and a QR buckle to help cinch it down. This flap has a zipped compartment good for three or four average sized flash drives. The ConstructionThe stitching is solid and secure on every single point around the pouch. No fraying, no loose threads or hanging ends. The cordura is flexible but a good string weave, so you can pack this pouch to full capacity and not worry about bursting it.The PALS straps are flexible enough to bend, but strong enough to weave and the poppers/snaps hold tight. The FitThis pouch takes up two PALS columns in width and stands at five PALS rows high, using three rows from your platform and two of its own between. The snaps do not loop around or have their own tabs, but still hold very securely. Belt users can tuck the tails into however many PALS rows they need, to size it for whichever belt they favour. It's worth noting at this point, the pouch is HUGE - It's properly deep and really needs to either be packed out to keep from being too floppy, or possibly have a secondary strap wrapped around to keep it tight.PerformanceI clipped off the metal zip tag and replaced it with a paracord loop. The rattling was annoying. The pouch can also bounce and flop around if packed too heavily. That said, it is still a decent usable size and worth getting for fist-sized kit items - maybe your vaping gear and a headover/Buff, or a decent mid-size personal first aid kit, a laptop charger and mouse... quite a lot, in fact. The ServiceMilitary1st, as always, deliver fantastic and fast service, choosing a decent courier and checking to see everything arrived as expected. Love these guys!Any cons? The metal zip tag on the front flap seems an odd choice, given the paracord loops on the other zip, but is easily changed. The Velcro™ securing the front flap is obviously noisy and does not have a silencing flap, which may be an issue for some users. The pouch can bounce.SummaryAs mentioned several times, this thing is big... but you can get a surprising amount of stuff in it. It takes up very little room on a MOLLE grid, so you get a lot of volume for the footprint. Makes a great little side pocket for a small rucksack.Would I buy it again? Yes, but only if I lost this one - You don't need more than one!
