As a rugged phone dead fan. 2019 I had my first doogee phone which is 90 pro come with battery case. They’ll bring me to the doogee’s. World. And the very next year I convinced my cousin to dump his iPhone and switch to doogee s86. . And in 2021 my s 90 battery went down and I bought the oukitel one but not a smart move . And 2023 the unihertz got tank released and kinda caught my eyes . So I went ahead got one but after 2 months. I returned . The system crushed every single time and the back giant light are annoying when it light up itself sometime . And finally doogee v max got me back . And I start to abuse it as soon as I received it about a week ago . And here are my complete reviews as a dead fan .PRO:1 battery just won dead easily even I use of it for a lot of phone call and video playing . So far as I write this it has been running for over 146 hrs WOW and also this phone has a really good feature that you can set up a battery saving mode (I did it as 40 percent the saving mode will kick in ). It will low the battery consumption by cutting the refresh rate but if you are not using it for gaming you can’t even tell.2. System run android 12 very stable. I tried to load two different type of flash memory cards (this phone accepts external storage card up to 1 TB according to official ) based on my previous bad experience from unihertz systems always pops wait or close android message . V max smooth and no delay even I open 5 apps from my memory card . Smooth as hell .3. Two SIM cards available. This feature is a cool if you are traveling oversea and have second SIM is always cool feature but keep i mind if you decide to get SIM card number two you have to take off the memory card out because they s sharing same slot. For me It is totally fine I am not travel soon lately.4. Finger print sensor on right side instead the doogee 90 on the back . Make it very hard to get scratched by keys accidentally. Which it happen to my wife google pixel long time ago .5 . Water proof . And material on v max is something I like it is aluminum combining with leather like rubber. It gave me pretty good grip with a luxury looking . Smart designs. Compare to oukitel phone they are use cheap plastic I think v max total bang the bucks.6 no over heating issue . I tried PUBG and COD on it . It running smooth . And not crazy hearing problems as I noticed. But of course, I still prefer use my iPad to do the video game . It is too heavy.7 camera I will rate 8 out of 10 . It feels like a google pixel 5 camera . But it is a decent camera . Even it does not do a great job at night . But a rugged phone like that can’t complain that.8 left side button DIY my app . This is a must for me all my phone has this key it set it up as my google wallet. Talking about my google wallet . I have running all this data with my NFC turns on . !!! If I turn it off my battery will even last longer .9 no glitch working with google home and Alexa frame and echo auto . I have google home and echo auto in my car . It links every time when I turn on my car keys . No glitch . It happen to my doogee s90 pro . Something I have to open the Alexa app to reboot my phone to get hook up with the Bluetooth system. Not an issue with my V MAX . I am so happy that doogee had fixed it .CONS.1 heavy and bulky . 1Lb baby not a joke For summer it will pull your shorts off LOL . Make sure for a belt .2 thicker than you think my old car mount not working so I have to buy a new one . You can go with the magnetic version . Don’t worry about that. Will not damage your phone. because this phone does not have a wireless charging.3 yucky no wireless charging . But this is okay . Why . A thick giant phone like this with a wireless charging. Will take forever which make this phone pointless. So fast cable charge works for me . V MAX can charge my earbuds wirelessly. As a power bank I think this feature not everyone know this .Over all . V MAX is a good phone for the fellas who like to go out a lot who likes to travel or maybe who like to living off-grid . it works for me. is under $600 fits my budget . a whole week heavy use without a charge . And my doogee phone make me a celebrity . every time I go out with my friend and always guys ask me what the heck is the phone. LMFAO.

Been using Doogee for ~3 years, this phone is about twice as heavy as an S97. Can't really be carried in a normal pocket.And it is not that sturdy. Mine broke down after 2 weeks and a few drops from waist height. S96 lasted 2 years, BV 8800 lasted 1 year.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this as my second phone with a second number for my work as I do a lot of hands on and truck deliveries. This is hands on the best long lasting battery beefed up into a powerful phone. I've had this for over 1 year now, and since I barely use it, it has not given me any single issue at this time. Ironically I've barely dropped this, because of its amazing grip compared to any thin glass phone that easily slips out of your hand; meaning while this is indestructible by design, it won't easily fall out your hands whatsoever despite its extremely heavy weight. While the fit and size isn't for everyone, I have grown accustom to fitting both my personal smartphone and this in one pocket for my work pants/shorts, and I don't have to fumble for it even for the size. I keep my settings low (60 Hz instead of 120, RAM option at stock instead of expanding), and the battery life easily lasts a minimum of 3-4 weeks of light use (text, notetaking, 100 mins of calls a month, and 10 min a day quick internet searches. I particularly adore how responsive and intuitive the fingerprint design is. It's instant and recognizes my finger everytime. It feels phenomenal to the touch and it's easily identifiable without looking at the phone (the other side key is rough to the touch that is programmable to specific functions). If you don't care about size/weight, this thing is truly a long-term keeper. 5 years down the line I may retire my personal phone if it still survives until then, and use this full time when I switch my career. This thing really stands the test of time without hesitation, and Doogee as a rugged brand has exceeded my expectations earning my seal of approval.The only drawback that is worth noting is despite this thing being flawless on everything else, the display screen max brightness is some of the worst I've ever seen on a smartphone (yes the extra-dim feature is off, and many other people complain about this particular issue too, so don't tell me otherwise). On every smart device I've used since 2012, the max brightness of this screen is just slightly dimmer than my old iPhone 4S. Thankfully I don't use it constantly outside in the sun, so it doesn't bother me, but on phones I always keep levels between 30-50%, I have the V Max at 100% at almost all times including sometimes at night. Also, while I appreciate the hard rugged design as well, I don't like all of the phone case options by all manufacturers in any online store. It's nice it has the hand grip strap attachment on the bottom, but I was hoping to find a case that would act more like a Zebra handheld device, with a dedicated hand-slide gripper whatever they're called. Since they don't exist anywhere for this phone, I'm going to see if it's possible to find someone to custom design it for me.Again, bonus points for an incredible fingerprint sensor, amongst the best I've seen!

La publicidad indica que la batería dura hasta 7 días utilizando el dispositivo de manera extrema (grabando videos, jugando, trabajo de campo, entre otros), utilizándolo con juegos de bajo consumo, lo más lejos que ha llegado es a 4 días, generalmente 3.También indicaban que es a prueba de golpes, y puedo garantizar que solo se me ha caído una vez, pese a eso ya tiene una ruptura en uno de sus lados.Se calienta por el uso continuo, a pesar que en la publicidad indicaban que esto no pasaría.Si bien es cierto toma fotografías en 108 megapíxeles como lo promocionan, no tiene un zoom muy grande, lo más que obtienes es 4X.En lo positivo si que toma fotografías nocturnas, tiene un gran espacio de almacenamiento, no he tenido problemas de conectividad, ni con el 4G ni con el WiFi, ni con el bluetooth.El que cuente con la google play store le da un gran valor agregado, hasta el momento todas las aplicaciones que he instalado son compatibles con el dispositivo.El lector de huellas dactilares funciona bien, pero el en lugar en que está ubicado es exacto donde pones tu índice o pulgar cuando lo agarras, y se desbloquea de forma involuntaria, de hecho el lector funciona demasiado bien, ya que se desbloquea muy fácil de manera involuntaria.Si que funcionaba bajo el agua, pero ahora con esa ruptura en el chasis no me voy a atrever a meterlo bajo el agua, ya que se podría filtrar.
