It's a thing of beauty ๐
OK so this item has some negative comments, personally mine is perfect no flaws and the writing is black on gold so not only does it look as cool as cool can be , it does drop the record / vinyl!! on the platter nice and tight and so not only does it look dam good the difference in makes is out there .. I'm running it on a project carbon deck I am truly blown away with it . And I'm not an easy bloke to please ....

Looks great if, works well
Love this! Other than making my turntable look sleek, it works well and has noticeably stopped some of my older albums jumping around. Well worth the money.

Worth it
Was a bit cynical that this could make a difference but it does. Most turntables belt or direct drive will take the weight and will not slow down, but if you have a belt drive and you havenโt changed the belt for quite a few years, you might best invest in a new belt first, as it may slip or slow down. Holds the record nicely in place and just sits over the spindle. Place your record on the turntable and then put the weighted clamp over the spindle, move the arm to start or turn the switch and off it goes. Keep it in the box with one of the packing pieces moved to keep it clean and dust free. It also has a nice soft under side to protect your label

Produces good contact of LP with turntable.
Have replaced old glass platter with acrylic platter, sound was a little thin without the record weight, even though I was using an Ortofon 2M Black. With weight and adjustment of stylus height and tracking force, the sound has a more density bringing out more instruments from the music. Making my LPs the best source of music once again.

Nice but not perfect.
Nice but not flawless (tiny scratches on arrival and looks slightly different to picture). Still and nice addition to any player.

Beautifully Made
I was feeling that my Technics SL-QD33 turntable was sounding a little too 'lively' for my taste. I put this vinyl stabilser and an Audio-Technika AT85EP cartridge on my Birthday Wish List and implemented them both at the same time. I suppose a good review would seperate the two and such but I'm just going to leave it all here as a 'perfect for me' solution. Someone needs to have a word with Nobsound about changing their brand name but otherwise this is beautifully engineered, looks the part and does the job. I have no reservations about recommending this although I do wonder what effect it may have on any turntable with a cheap bearing or motor? It's not light but that's the point. Update After a little more time I can report that this vinyl stabilizer really does make a big difference. On the odd occasion that I forget to put it on I notice very quickly. It definitely brings the correct warmth to an LP. Inexpensive upgrade that should be on any list of life hacks.

NOT AS ILLUSTRATED
As mentioned previously its lacquered brass not the rose as illustrated and the name on the top is in grey_white colour not the dark colour as shown.im sure this is fit for purpose butt i found the overall finish disappointing.

Nice, (but colour in photo is misleading)
Works nicely (Technics 1210 for hifi use). Only minor disappointment is the colour is regular yellow gold, rather than the rose gold as the picture implies, but it still looks good.
