Wonderfully unique style.
Niamh has a beautiful and unique voice. She has a completely different sound and style to any of the other Irish Country acts I have heard. There are some great songs on this album and the production really suits her voice. I particularly like 'I'm Alright', 'Memories of Angels', 'Just One More' and the fun 'Oopsy Daisy'This album has a great variety of up-tempo songs and beautifully moving slower songs like Memories of Angels. It really shows off Niamh's ability. Of her the three CDs she currently has released this is definitely the best. Her new album Niamh McGlinchey - Dear Someone (NEW CD) is good but it hasn't got the same variety of songs as this one, it's a lot slower paced I would say. There are a few great songs on there but this is great all the way through.

The drum plays and sounds good. The initial drum I received had a natural flaw acorss the centre of the skin which created a couple of dull spots. The finish on the wood was very good. The replacement drum had a flawless skin, but the wood finish is disappointing. From my experience there appears to be a problem with quality control. The beater supplied is fine, but I have ordered a better case.The supplier offered a full refund or £10 discount. I kept the drum, despite the poor finish.

Her voice is phenomenal. If I could sing like anyone in the world Id pick Niamh! Reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. Given 4 stars as the up beat numbers are the best and there are a few slow ones.

This CD is all I could ask, from a supplier who ensured it arrived on time and in good order. I purchased this in particular for the track "Memories of Angels" , but I was not at all disappointed with the rest of the tracks on this album.
